You can use it to avoid casts, get drinks for mana and get back into stealth to get a second opener how is it not optimal? its the best racial for rogues, feral druids, resto druids and more.

I play Night elf because the other druid races and their druid froms are stupid looking.
Shadowmeld had absolutely nothing to do with my decision.

Being able to drop all aggro, restealth and do your opener again is super powerful in pve, you should be using it.

If you want to reset a fight, play a rogue. Ferals are not built for it. It’s not beneficial to a boomkin. I never used it as resto outside saving time for a raid upon wiping.
Rogues can reset without it and can avoid being pulled out of stealth with a dot (can’t with shadowmeld).
My point being in the most optimal situation where you aren’t fighting a class that can put a dot on you, see you in stealth, it’s not doing you any favors.
Which we have eliminated about 80% of classes that can do those things to you or hit you with aoe in stealth.

i have a worgen druid but i can’t deal with the gallumpa dump way they run. i stayed in human form all the time because of it and eventually just quit playing her. wolves have grace in their movements. where did that awful swamp beast thing come from? which brings to mind how mad i was when they ruined the cute lil sashay draenei used to have

No thanks. With the addition of calm the wolf I basically never have to look at that model at all.

NO. I play Nelf and Tauren, and I want all my forms to be specific to the race i play.

Nah, they are just a pretty elf race.
Dwarves are the best race in the game yet so few play them compared to Humans, NE, VE, because they are not pretty and outright look worse in nearly every transmog set. Female space goats are just as popular as Dwarves in general.
There are people that only care about the racial ofc, but the majority of players are more interested in how their character looks, and female NE is very popular because of this.

I refuse to ever play Resto because I hate male NE casting animations. I would seriously race change or make a second druid for Resto if there was a better option, but there isn’t. At least not yet.
Where are the damn Pandaren druids? They have the Celestials as Wild Gods.

I love my night elf druid, shadowmeld and entangle can make herb gathering a lot more convenient. Shadowmeld is useful for lots of other stuff too, combined with prowl. I also have a tauren druid and this troll druid. I love all of them. They each have their own color schemes and matching shapeshift forms lol

Just shows a design flaw when you give options but not incentive to pick other options.
Did you know most Horde classes that can be blood elves are blood elves majority, the only one that isn’t is Warlocks and Monks
