I feel like, 40% is undervalue, should really be 49.99%, still < 50% so dps won’t complaint about it.
I like the idea of never losing rating but it might need a bit more thought.
Ultimately if I felt like I could climb on 3-3 games that would be sufficient.
In b4 I don’t know MMR works.
What lol, literally a resto shaman. Have been for years, have also played both priest specs and hpld. Have been higher rated on my healers than any of my dps. Hit the check-pvp.
Not a bad idea, though the risk of being suspended will be a huge deterrent for leavers.
So, as a healer, when I’m on the bad rogue’s team 3 times and then the rogue leaves cause he’s mad…I lose how many points?
Is this in effect for LFG dungeons? Because it’s really annoying when a tank leaves after one boss.
Now do this for M+
why are you even queuing as a healer to begin with?
I’m not one to base my opinions based on someones stats.
You dont understand why people would leave and thus I made the assumption of you never playing as a healer to begin with. Healing is awful in this mode and we are penalized for participating.
The incentive is fun. Make it not suck to heal.
not really, there are 3 main healers in my group, me being one of them and we barely play SS. Solo shuffle is a mess we don’t want to deal with because if you have a group there isn’t any incentive to play. If they gave us something with actual value for dealing with the nightmare that is keeping 2 random dps alive, specially at below 2k which most people are, we would do it.
Suggestions to incentivize healing
Account bound Conquest tokens for 15 wins as a healer. 1 per week.
15% vers increase for healers to prevent them being focused , discouraged and quitting.
Increase rating gains on healers + 1 per every cc used per match to promote skill gameplay not just through put.
Healer solo mount for 100 healing wins
Maybe you need to tweak your matchmaking system. I should not be getting a 3-3 split and lose 80 rating.
that’s sarcasm right? because they actually did that. Yesterday i saw a buff with the picture of a hearth and when i looked at it, it said exactly that. Given that i hit weekly conquest cap in an hour and that honor is completely useless the only think that came to my mind is “how can they be so bad at this?”
This was such a great concept and such a fail. Just lost my 15 minute solo que somewhere in between the 2nd and 3rd round. No idea what happened. Just game over man… Re-que, no points, no honor…
Fix this. And for crying out loud improve the rewards so more people play it.
Suddenly something pop to my mind. If leaver issue solved, or at least less people leaving, so more people will get back to the game.
What do you think the new dps/healer ratio will be? I am betting dps will have even longer que when they can’t motivate more healers to join. So far they are just saying, “we are working on solution for healer”, so things may get worst for you guys.
Yep thats blizzards incentive strategy lol. Right now its 25% more honor/conquest. They’ll buff it to 40% to make it really worth your while to queue up as a healer!
Figure out a way to reward/deduct rating based on how well you play and not who dies first, especially for healing. Splatoon does it. Copy them, Blizz!
Ideas:
- Successful CCs
- Interrupts
- Juking (count how many times Precognition would proc)
- Analyze how many times a DPS is saved from below 50% or 25%
- Look at time spent DPSing into a wall, uptime of a defensive during offensive CDs
- How many heals fail due to LOS or range
It would feel amazing if I knew that I could play well and if my DPS just fail to kill someone, I’ll still climb. If there’s one really bad DPS in the group, the healer is going to go 3/6, or even worse that DPS could get lucky and win a match, and the healer goes 2/6.
Bro they can’t even get a win/loss CR right.
Good stuff, blizz tuning next
