its lose lose for all other players at 2100. if you win against the 1600 player you get nothing but if you make a mistake and lose against the 1600 players partner you lose a ton

just going to drop this here since you are poiting out how much everyone else sucks. your record shows you getting 2k for the first time in 2018 then out of no where you get 2200 and even 2400 within a few weeks of each other. glad you swiped visa to call people trash

As opposed to…any other cooperative pvp game? 
Everything is cross-realm so people aren’t restricted to playing with a small pool of people like back in the day.
you are 100% right on this. part of the problem is esport mentality and the other part is the game has become to complex to compete. Focus or arena 123 macros for targeting. learning where to stand when to hide and when to push as a team ect. there is maybe a few thousand player in the world that play at these levels but over a million playing the game.
I hate to say get gud but that really is the only option but getting gud takes practice and players at these levels dont want to play with people that are learning with out getting something out of. Microsoft will have their work cut out for them trying to fix this and the fix may not be what us vets want
I would assume the one shot games would go away with higher ratings, but the way dampening works in Solo Queue almost encourages it to remain. I think the other issue here is that you are being placed in shuffles with people that have significantly less than ideal gaps in CR.
you have to be willing to lose your sanity for rating tbh.

I literally had a dh at 2k+ tell me that wizards should be running into melee range and they dont because they are “crying in the back.”
I asked him to wait a moment before rushing in and he refused every round.

It does a poor job. Why would you go into arena knowing how bad it is and how much worse it will be?
It’s because they released the rated mode during off-season. MMR doesn’t work correctly because no one can gets past placement games. I don’t understand why people are failing to understand this concept, it works the same way if you play alts during off-seasons in 2s / 3s who never got through placement games in the live season.
This is why you always have 0cr/mmr players mixed in with 2100+ players. The problem will fix itself once the S1 releases.

I cant get past 1400 even if I win I just get +3 or whatever when I lose I get -50
if you told me it was impossible to get past that in solo shuffle I wouldve believed you but on the forums you have 2000+ people
