it’s suppose to be 30 and eventually up to 500 once fibre is in my area (free upgrade)
i’m banking on fibre fixing this upload issue… i brick my whole internet everytime i try to stream.
Don’t get me wrong i have left 1-2 on alts but I did also dc a couple days ago with a power flicker. Tried to hurry back in but had to reset the router/modem.
A few small fixes and leavers won’t matter. People prob want others to leave if they fixed a few things. Won’t have these idiots crying for bans.
People like this shouldn’t be in rated to begin with. Fix your internet first

Literally just 2 fixes needed: Award non leavers for rounds played… .and actually take MMR off of leavers.

I would be 2400+ on my Monk rn if that were the case.
I was 2050, played 5 matches and went 3/6 a couple of times, and 4/6 three times, got zero CR every match b/c someone left. Then I go 2/6, I don’t leave, lose 46 CR and like 80 MMR, then I go 3/6 get my score back. Next 3 matches I get zero CR, (all of them being 3/6 or higher, I usually go 4/6 or higher, keep in mind they left on the final round so in reality I could easily have gone 4/6 or 5/6 on all those matches).
Last match I reported the Druid, I was 5/6, Arms Warrior and Druid both afk’d in the room, refused to play. When I wasn’t dying, and may have been able to 1v3 (mind you this is at 2k, and everyone there has glad mounts), the Druid seeing that, left the match to deny me my points.
I’m so tired of the BS, Blizz NEEDS to give us rating in these circumstances, properly punish leavers, and investigate it at the higher ratings to prevent win trading. Then perma ban the clowns if they ARE win trading, rather than instituting a system like this. B/c you know Blizz ain’t going to retroactively give me 400 points, so now I’ll have to spend hours more of my life grinding.
honestly another fix is to straight up not let people leave the arena like at all.
no way around it, you HAVE to play all 6 rounds.

Yeah. Like, if I leave a game of League then it disconnects me but my little char runs back to spawn, and the match plays out 4v5. That’s probably the easiest fix in theory, although I’m not sure if it’s feasible in the wow engine or whatever.
Like, for me to be running around Orgrimmar while my body is losing the last 2 shuffles or w/e.
i mean think about RBGs too. people leave yolo’s all the time, the game continues, the leaver still loses cr and mmr.
Yeah, in rbgs if somebody leaves then the game continues. Same with arena. Just have remaining matches play out as if they had lost each round or are AFK for them (probably 95%+ lose rate).
One person leaving deny all gains and losses is terrible and should’ve been addressed months ago.
people leave the game to retain their mmr in SS, 150 CR is nothing if you keep your mmr you’ll get it back fairly quick, blizzard need to make leavers lose 300 MMR, that way people will stop abusing this, just like how they abused D/C to avoid penalty.

Terrible idea. So someone leaves after getting stomped 3 rounds and then now other players need to play with someone AFK on their team for 3 rounds and subsequently lose rating as well? Why should other people be punished for someone going AFK still? Absolutely makes no sense at all.
Generally the leaver has lost all their rounds and will then play into the their teammates and the whole thing kind of balances out. This or having the rounds that would’ve had them also be auto-losses is another option.
Anything is preferable to sitting through a 20 minute queue into 20 minutes of gameplay and getting, like, 400 honor. That’s a joke. 
imagine if you’re stuck with the leaver the first 3 rounds and lose with him.
suddenly you’re forced to eat those 3 losses with 0 opportunity to get the 3 wins.
