So somebody who is a productive member of the society that also plays the game hardcore for possibly for fun (because fun is subjective)… has no life?
I’m suddenly an elitist now? What?

If all you do is clock into work just to come home and clock into WoW, yes you have zero life. Get a hobby or go outside, the world doesn’t revolve around a videogame.
Sorry, sir… that’s not what I said at all.
Helps if you’d continue to read a post thoroughly instead of making things up.
And I’ll refer back to this once again:

You have no argument.
Don’t feed him Riri…
Of course they aren’t debating it… because it is a logical solution to a problem. I know… you want to argue, troll, insult, and threaten anyone that challenges your view… but you can’t argue that the solution provided isn’t feasible.
And your dodging around is proving that forming your own group is not a solution how?
Awww… fine. lol
This was very clearly a sarcastic troll. You quoting this is really a testament to how dense you are.
Yea and then you also said
Which is what I was referring to.
Nice try tying to deflect though.
No body who clocks into work just to clock back into WoW has a life. Go get a hobby and step outside, there’s a whole world out there waiting, I promise!
Baseless Myth.
Their hobby is playing WoW maybe… shocked horror
Stepping outside and doing things I enjoy is not feasible at this time due a certain pandemic… maybe you’ve heard of it?
WoW is a video game my dude. Is playing Video games while having a full time job means you have zero life?
I mean you said full time, full time, as in your putting 40 hours a week, helping to make society a better place. Suddenly that means you have no life if you play video games on top of that because they want to have fun?
I already have a hobby. It’s called video games.
I go outside constantly since i have a part time job and to get stuff from a store or to get coffee.
Doesn’t matter if you’re Mother Theresa. If you clock 40 hours at work and then spend all of your free time on WoW it is correct to assume that you have no life.
Blizz messed this up and I’m certain they’ll fix it.
Expect WoW is just a video game. And video games are entertainment. And Entertainment are there for the express purposes of being entertained. WoW isn’t special in this regard.
Can we not give special treatment to WoW here, since you can no-life or life in any video game or hell, any hobby?
Imagine thinking WoW is a hobby.
If all you do is clock in to work just to leave work and clock back into WoW, yes you have no life.
You can spin it however you want but this explains the behavior of all the people white knighting for blizzard now, most of you never have actual human interactions outside of your work or video game.
Maybe that’s why there’s such a disconnect between casuals like me and elitists like you guys, I can understand the frustrations of the average gamer while you guys are expressing the frustrations of an addicted one.
Stop making it all about you. That’s a violation of the CoC.
WoW is a hobby… just because you do not agree with it doesn’t disprove that people find the game fun, enjoyable, and relaxing.
Myth.
You really like tapdancing on the line of inappropriate insults don’t you?
You dont need better gear of you dont do higher activities anyway
Just keep playing and have fun
Your gear is based on the content you do, so… if youre kinda casual, then that’s as good as it’s gonna get
Yeah… people who do more hardcore content are gonna have better stuff. It’s ok. When they stomp you in pvp… youre not alone. There are millions of casual players who usually dont get the best gear. Im one of them.
This pretty much should sum it up.
If a casual player can get geared well enough to feel comfortably powerful in the activities they choose to partake of, then that should be fine IMO.
It’s not. WoW is a game that has a cash shop and in game currency you can buy with a swipe of a credit card, it also profits off your time played so being a consumer is not a hobby.
If you want to say gaming is a hobby, sure but making a sole game your hobby is ridiculous.
Well the truth does tend to hurt.
False, in order to progress in PvP you need gear and same with PvE, but since they nerfed PvE loot, all of them are in PvP which only makes demand for gear go up even higher.
If you don’t mind running random BGs and logging off, then you’ll be fine but a majority of paying customers want to experience the entire game they purchased and content requires gear that’s being gated.
the real problem is that you can get up to 198 ilvl going afk in battlegrounds while someone else can be running dozens of difficult m+ keys and barely be higher than you in ilvl.
