classic blizzard
Soleable but extremely tedious. About 20 - 30 minutes.
The Fact they don’t have a template to toss onto Bosses or entire raids while they are creating a raid is laughable. They know they will have to go bacvk eventually and modify it for players farming mogs achievements and mounts. Why not justdo a template that loads when a single player enters that raid etc. Then you would not have issues in the future and countless people asking for nerfs etx.Bake it into your raid/dungeon creation from the inception. How they never thought or bothered to do that is beyond me.I do not ccare whare reasoning they have just do it.While your at it add a Skip to Spine of Deathwing. 10+ years overdue. All of us Rogues want to parade around our legendary daggers like the firelands staff people and the wargliave DH’s but most of ust cant that and I guess mount hunters can have easy access to it.
still like this
Just so people are aware, historically there has been near enough zero effort made to allow a player to solo content until it is considered to be Legacy. Content is not considered to be Legacy until it is over two expansions out of date - Shadowlands is currently only one expansion out of date, and will not be considered Legacy until the launch of Midnight (likely around three years from now).
If you’re unsure whether an instance is Legacy or not, check for a system message when you zone in. If it does not bring up a message stating that Legacy loot rules have been enabled then it is not considered to be Legacy content. This change in loot behaviour will also be accompanied by a massive increase in your own damage dealt and a massive reduction in any damage taken.
yeah I don’t expect this to be “fixed” any time soon.
It’s not that. The mechanic that you have to do to disable her DR shield does not work with only one person. Even though it should in theory. Since she fires the beam from her location to yours. Meaning it should go through the relic of the First Ones that you placed in between yourself and her. Repeat that 4 more times and the DR shield should drop. After all, the beam did travel between her and the first target in the chain during Shadowlands. Since there are 5 relics for 5 people (1 relic each).
On hard mode though that won’t work regardless since all 5 relics have to be hit within the one cast. So the mechanic has to be changed for solo play or you are forced to bring 4 other people.
Bumping as this is still a thing…
Suppose this has been said already but just in case. This is not considered Legacy content. If the rule hasn’t changed Legacy content is two expansions back. Thus there are no changes in the mechanics. Shadowlands is still intended to be done with more than one person. However, some content can be soloed. Either run with more peps or do housework and auto it.
Below is said better than I could:
You can solo this though, you just nuke them separately and there’s an order to do it in. Once they reach 1 hp they no longer do their abilities, but they do an ability each that locks them in place while channeling it, you want to nuke them when this happens, as they have a 99% damage taken reduction otherwise.
Unfortunately STILL a thing, even with recent updates to Shadowlands raids, etc… to make them more solo friendly, looks like this got overlooked.
Slight update I guess. At level 80 with an ilvl of 619 you are able to kill if you spam moves. It took about 7 minutes.
