Solar Eclipse in Azeroth?

One of the minor things that I appreciate in WoW is the day/night cycles along with how both the sun and the moon travel across the sky. The moon, I’ve noticed can also be out during the day. That said, have there been actual solar eclipses in WoW? And if not, would you like to see them introduced into the game?

i think solar and lunar eclipses should take place on Azeroth yes. Great idea. I also think there should be cosmic events as well. :rainbow::sun_with_face::full_moon_with_face::stars:

A solar eclipse would have a effect in lore. It’s supposed a significant thing and if there was to be one it would have a story driven aspect to it

I’d like to see blizzard make day/night happen every few hrs and not based off server time.

Well, Azeroth DID have two moons before the White Lady sent the Blue Child away. :slight_smile:

yep, I’m sure, throughout the day take a peak up in the sky and if you see a smaller blue orb that’s the Blue Child exclusive of the sun and the White Lady

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely take a closer look. I wonder of there can be an eclipse with the sun and BOTH moons.
