Itās not the best game in its genre, not even close. It isnāt awful to level with the homies the first few days of a new season though, but it is soooooooo boring after you hit WT3.
Youād think after working on it for a while(?) Blizzard wouldve had a thorough QA/alpha/beta test going onā¦oh wait itās new blizzard 
Even still, imagine a company making class changed based off of toons at level 25.
If you cant see how ridiculous this is then you deserve the garbage blizzard are going to dump on you moving forward.

originally, I said in an earlier post that I told someone to give me 10 mins in SoD and Iāll report back with my findings. Those 10min turned into 2 days worth of gamingā¦ Just wanted others to realize this is not a complain post, merely my assessment of what the world offered me and my playing style.
The first thing everyone needs to realize is that the runes are nothing more than talents or buff which are learned or trained for which have bene moved from your talent tree and added to a new rune tab. I was expecting to see āNewā type of runes not just something moved from one location to another and labeling it a āruneā. leave the talent tree alone and add ānewā runes with different abilities or attributes.
So after spending another day or so in SoD and after changing professionsā¦ Iāve found that itās not worth me hanging around thereā¦ the PVP zone is nothing more than easy kills for anyone unsuspectingly runs into a zone where horde players are looking for easy kills. If I wanted to play Pvp I would have went to a PvP servers. otherwise, Iām out of SoD and will return to WoTLK until Cataclysm is re-released.
I was drawn to the world in the hopes that this would have been the earliest blizzard could have and should have released the dwarf shaman. But they didnāt. But I stayed there as long as I could just to see what I might have missed. I reached lev 20 and the game has become stagnate and slow.
Did the game fail? Iām 50/50 split. Maybe 60/40 split the negatives out weight the positives so nothing worth the effort to remain there. Iād like to see several of these new āthingsā added to the upcoming re-release of Cataclysm.

Iāve been having a blast and really enjoying the quick action from the devs. I think the problem is that people that are enjoying themselves donāt come to the forums to complain that sod didnāt match their fantasized game design

I meanā¦ SoD is basically a beta to test ideas and concepts for retail.
They have customers willing to pay to test these things via sub fee. Why not take advantage of that?

Concepts like Warlock and Shaman tank have always been popular. This is giving Blizzard valuable data on how popular it actually is when in play and not just a concept on the wall. If they prove popular even up to 60 in SoD then I have no doubt that Retail may end up seeing these things.

I donāt understand how they need to allegedly test and calculate popularity. Put the option in and of people choose it, good if they opt for something elseā¦whateverā¦thereās no cost to it really.
Itās not like they are developing new types of cars for different financial demographics.
I stopped playing as soon as I saw the first hunter nerfs come in, only 2 days laterā¦
I though this was gonna be a no holds barred type of season, but apparently not.
Theyāre definitely was a couple people who got way too caught up in that classic plus hype and just started making up things that were going to be featured that I have yet to see.
Like Iām fairly certain weāre not going to see azshara Crater.
