I can see that, but they lock us at level tiers for months. So they should not get benefit of the doubt as we are paying sub for WoW while just getting crushed.
Talk to the higherups that had the classic team working on CATA and not SoD which factually by numbers had more players. that wow token money was too important to pass up.
Yeah good point. Imma just make a call to some higher ups. Why are you even in here talking if that is the stuff you say.
why are you asking stupid questions then team got taken off project so they couldnât work on it or make balance changes.
do you understand they they literally if they wanted to couldnât do anything about this?

maybe trying to split classic into 4 separate âgamesâ (i.e. level caps) was a ridiculous idea ![]()
Yes, rogues and warriors are in a fine place. For one thing, rogue can 100-0 you in a single stun. You need to trinket and frenzied regen to even stand a chance against a rogues opener. And warriors are fine. Sure there not the best without a healer but thatâs how warriors have always been. Again my point being that even though spell casters have gotten some quality of life improvement, so have melee, and I was pointing out how great warrior mobility is right now to illustrate that. I do agree with nerfing shamans though.
PvE is all about Melee now. Donât even bring casters, just stack melee.
PvP is all about Ranged/Casters now. Donât even bring melee, just stack casters.
I donât see an issue, both are viable in their own way, so clearly itâs balanced.
PvE is cooperative. PvP is combative. One of these modes of play directly opposes the other. They are not the same thing. Acting like they are weakens your point of view.
Balthalor you turned into a shadow, what happened man?
Whatâs wild is on mobile it isnât a shadow. On PC it is. Weird huh?
Thank you for agreeing with me.
youâve been void touched by Xalatath
If your class is getting crushed in PvP it is prohibitive to completing the task and having a good experience. All the classes are viable in PvE because it is cooperative and you win together without an opposing force. The tuning of the game allows for it. You are being purposely deceitful or misunderstand completely why this is an issue.
Time to kill is mere seconds, all classes get crushed in pvp.
Solved easily by getting gud. Even the best classes/specs will lose when played poorly.
And it is where melee thrive. You roll melee because you want to pve. You roll ranged because you want to pvp.
You just want to complain, so you pretend this is an issue. It isnât, and you just need to vent your frustrations.
You can clearly see with representation of classes there is an issue. If you go to an STV event you will also see people only looking for ELE Sham, Boomkin, Shadow Priest. You are burrowing your head in the sand and saying get good. I pointed out something that is a clear cut issue and you came here to garbage post. You arent even offering up anecdote to support your claims.
I imagine with 4.5k posts on here, the forums is your game not WoW.
When time to kill is low, ranged will always beat melee. When time to kill is high, melee will beat ranged.
Time to kill right now is low. You do remember how it was during the 50% DR weekend right?
Theyâre better off if they stop trying to use pve class kits for pvp game modes. Good time to test and experiment this idea in an isolated BG in SoD. You enter the BG/arena or whatever pvp instance and you get a new UI/empty bar with preset abilities. Decide the number of cc/mobility/offensive and defensive CDs. Hell try something wild put heals on a CD. Tune the numbers accordingly. Retail needed to do this for nearly a decade now. An ingame implementation somewhat similar to plunder. Classicâs old pvp design was rock paper scissors (in a way) and thus the pve and pvp class kit was designed with these ideas of limitations. It still exists, but the main goal of SoD is really to buff classes, underperforming specs, create new roles, make things fun. Balance, especially rock paper scissors balance isnât the goal for pvp.
an unfun pillow fight where enhance was incapable of dying lol
heh people finally realized melee (including enh shaman) are damage sponges. even the ones with charge/shadowstep/stealth/bubble/ect.
shadowpriests/hunters/boomkin/and yes even ele shaman are op cause their weaknesses are gone when in a ranged stack where they can all turn and burn you before you can even get a melee swing on them and some are even able to just fully sit there and tank you with dispersion or frenzied regen.
funny how what i was saying all this time seemed to come true.
we will see if they address it with the ptr for p4.
i kinda doubt it though i do see them doing a fat nerf to all shaman in revenge for their own lack of balancing them so they can get brownie points with the randoms on the forums.
