You know whats crazy, if they did a fresh era but capped it every 10 levels to prevent sweaties from ruining it and to enjoy the leveling process, it would be HUGE.

Nah man, I can’t get behind that. Just let me get to 60 and put a 1-day lockout on all dungeons lower than BRD, if anything is done at all.
I’d leave SoD for a fresh classic any day. Not only because of the game, but also because the SoD playerbase is full of retailbrains lol

Nope. Most fun of vanilla is the low level pvp fights and journey along the way. Change my mind.

I never planned to go back to era anyways…
It was a great nice lived time, but now that SoD is out and I played through the classic launch and timeline, I have no intent to play again.
A fresh era pure classic seasonal server that resets and dumps into perma era servers is the only version Id play. Have it for classic, tbc, and wotlk
The og class designs are leagues better, add uniqueness and trade offs, and have better balance
No need for these terrible seasons of sweat like hardcore, self found, discovery to continue wasting dev resources. They should just run seasonal servers of og and work on developing a real classic predecessor rather than these half baked drops

The vanilla WORLD is the best part. Thats one of the reasons SOD is particularly bad compared with mastery or even hardcore
Honestly if they just added a 100% exp boost to Classic with phases I’d just rather play that

Yeah, my guild all quit after TBC. They havent come back for Mastery, SOD, Hardcore.
We have a standing raid list for a new fresh tho. Best guild I ever played with too, really good people and solid players
Similarly, I love classic>wotlk, but cant get into these other versions. I did miss cata the first time though, and am hoping the raids and pvp will be better than SOD at least

Id much rather play fresh classic era than SOD at this point. Id love a 2 year repeating fresh classic era rotation.
The best part of classic wow is the journey and the friends you make.
Incursions are not it, and pvp in SOD is lol.

I’d play fresh Era. I’m really not a fan of most changes SoD brought. PvP in SoD is abysmal.

2019 is the best classic. I still miss it. SOD is the worst no doubt.
For me sod is so mid i went back to FF to play Endwalker expansion. Which makes me sad i had high hopes for SoD
Shamans are fine in Era, they are absolutely walking pinatas in PVP though. They can’t beat anything unless it’s standing directly in front of them and not killing their totems. Resto Sham is just a straight up free kill, they can’t even defend themselves.
