I am new to SOD and looking to get to cap fast.
What is the fastest method in Phase 8?
The fastest method is going to Google and typing “sod phase 8 leveling” and then pressing Enter.

Ah, thank you, wise oracle of the obvious. I never would’ve guessed that the secret to knowledge was typing words into Google and pressing Enter. Truly groundbreaking. Next you’ll be telling me water is wet and fire is hot.
But since we’re aiming for peak efficiency, maybe next time you could just link the result you clearly already Googled—save us both the keystrokes.
So much of the pre existing players leveling alts are being boosted these days so it’s harder to find a group for dungeon runs etc so your best bet may honestly be questing solo.

Fastest method is getting someone to invasion boost you. Fast method that requires no gold or friends is doing the incursion daily quests and then grinding the mobs until they no longer grant XP. Dragon whelps or Worgen in the Duskwood incursion. Dragon whelps or elite tree mobs in the Ashenvale incursion. Moonkin or elite dragons/whelps in the Hinterlands incursion. The incursion mobs give more XP per hitpoint than mobs anywhere else.
I can take a character from 1-60 in about 15 hours grinding incursions but I have gold and experience doing it. Without anything you can probably get from 1-60 in about 25-30 hours doing this depending on a bunch of factors.
