Look at that P8 SE raid, it’s insane — easily the best raid in WoW. I want to see where this goes next.
Anyone who tries to badmouth it or stand in the way of its growth is a traitor. 
It does seem like a lot of lost opportunity to end it here.
There’s no reason that they couldn’t keep developing future phases other than that they lack the will to do so.
It was undeniably wildly popular.
It is a shame that they are no longer developing SoD but im hoping what they said in the YT comment about SoD being a testing ground for classic+ is true and that they take what they learned with SoD and apply it to Classic+ if it ever comes out
I think it’s probably because they wanna save all their ideas for Classic+. I maybe wrong, but I think the Scarlet Enclave raid was originally planned for Classic+ down the road…
It was a great raid I don’t see why they would not use it again in classic+ though next time they add should do what naxx did with the HM (without the sanc gear) and let people choose how hard they want their raid
Agreed, I am all about difficulty, but I think at this point in the evolution of modern gaming we all understand that seeing the content and facing the challenge are not inextricably linked. SE should have had at very least normal and heroic modes.
Otherwise, 100% on this post! I have loved SoD and hope to see similar development in the future! I hadn’t had a sub in 2 years before SoD but it brought me back, and I believe that this is the longest I have held an active subscription in… 14 years?
