SOD is now fully infected with GDKP

LOL

Actual gotem moment.

Ok and?

You’d prefer hard rez items instead spamming the LFG channel?

And what about when they get their item and stop forming groups?

I have no reason nor requirement to show you the myriad of blue/green posts that clearly lays out their stance on it, thats a you problem, blizzard doesnt even recognize the gdkp system.

Does this somehow make me mad? No, thats a you thing.

Got me how? Because you cant prove youve never obtained rmt gold before because the loot is small?

Smooth brain takes are common place here.

I haven’t ignored it, I addressed it when I said “The AH is completely different from GDKP or any other method of monetizing loot distribution in raids”. It’s about any form of monetizing bop raid items, not just GDKP – it just happens to be the most prevalent one and the most effective one. Once again you’re showing how you can’t read.
In a game where you can buy gold, it effectively makes it so you can achieve the highest level of power just by having enough money to spare irl.

I also made it abundantly clear that there is an inevitable, always present, incentive to RMT as long as player trade (which includes the AH) exists, and removing player trade entirely because of that would be just stupid. Player trade is just necessary for an MMO, you can’t avoid it, and that level of RMT incentive just comes with the territory.

Bound items cannot be sold or traded, and that SHOULD provide a huge limitation on how much your money bought gold can make you stronger. Trading bound items for gold through ML is not necessary for the game and should not be allowed because the economy is poisoned by RMT and bots, making the system unfair towards those who either don’t have extra money irl to spare or don’t know how to run bot farms.
I, for one, would prefer the game to be as far from pay to win as possible.

Again, this isn’t hard to understand.

While I’m not a fan of gdkp’s, this doesn’t seem like a major problem on living flame NA horde at the moment. Of the 50 LFG groups forming right now, 2 of them are gdkp’s, about half are requiring 7/7xp consumes, wb, and the other half have no prereqs at all.

Just join one of the 20+ casual pugs forming every minute.

I agree ban GDKPs now.

it’s a bannable offense to post gdkp in lfg channel so make sure you’re doing your due diligence and duty

And you can prove you have never obtained rmt gold through trading or the ah? I mean that wasn’t really the gotem moment but I don’t expect a

to understand. Cause if you did, you wouldn’t have gotten got.

This gets less sarcastic, and more real everyday.

gl with your appeal

I only have one question. If WOW was completely free of RMT and botting would you still dislike GDKP’s yes or no?

Keep the purge alive.

i would, and i would never go to one, and i would advocate for blizzard to make bis not drop from raids because of it and instead be locked behind pvp ranks or reputation grinds that aren’t able to be bought with resources

What the…

you just made a bigger leap than the first man on the moon. I dont think you understand what GDKP runs vs a ticket run is…

You should probably stop talking about this subject since you are severely mislead on this entire thing.

I play the game to parse and I havent been in a GDKP since p6 of classic lol

If all the gold used in GDKP was honestly earned in-game, without bots, cheats, or real money, I would have no problems with it.

This whole conversation sounds like a Crusader Strike only issue. I play Wild Growth Horde and Chaos Bolt Alliance, I haven’t seen a single GDKP advertised on either. Based on what other people in this thread, who play on other servers, are saying, they don’t see them advertised either. Guess that’s the downside to following streamers everywhere.

im sure if you advertise gdkps in lfg it will affect you in-game so that’s what my comment was directed at

Maybe it will change in the future. But it’s a 10 man raid with a 3 day lockout. Why would anybody spend any serious amount of gold (100+) for any of these items? Maybe the epic staff is the only one I think could reasonably go for that much.

Imagine spending 100+ gold in a gdkp on some item when Timmy the grey parsing hunter just joins a casual pug run and wins the same item for free beating 1-2 other people on the roll.

40 man end game raids with a weekly lockout are a different story.
