All these players defending GDKP won’t change their mind. They’re either swipers that are happy they can pay to win or they’re participants and see no other way of keeping up with the swipers.
I’m sure they’re aware of the damage it does to the game as a whole. But they’ve developed an attitude of learned helplessness. That allows them to see no wrong in their actions, as if they stop the action will continue on without them anyway. Or they simply don’t care.
ya no way to change mind forsure, Also wtf do you with gold if there are not gdkps. Upping the quest gold cause stuck at level 25 was kinda dumb IT added MILLIONS…
True…the hundreds of bots farm. Make their gold on the ah…But the farmers make their real money with people buying that gold for GDKPs. That RMT gold inflates the economy,
now farmers can sell things for more on the ah. GDKPs get more and more expensive so the player needs to buy more gold…cycle goes on…
The actual trend of prices, and since you don’t know this shows you know nothing about actual GDKP’s, is that items go down in price in them. Shocking how that works, when less people need something it goes down in price.
Apart from the fact that you’re likely grouping up with card swipers and directly trading with them or through a 3rd party player depending if you’re leading or not.
The AH is full of RMT gold as well. But that is a blizzard made game function not a player created agreement. There is no way of knowing of RMT gold bought your herbs or genuinely earned gold. The same could be said for GDKPs but honestly if you believe that you’re either digging your head in the sand or are completely unable to do any deductive thinking. I’d presume the former.
Well it does lol, simple economics dictates more money in circulation = inflation. Look at Venezuela.
“According to experts, Venezuela’s economy began to experience hyperinflation during the first year of Nicolás Maduro’s presidency. Potential causes of the hyperinflation include heavy money-printing and deficit spending .”
Heavy money printing is akin to raw gold / vedoring farms / questing as they’re the only ways to create gold in classic wow. So the reason for inflation is excessive bots and farmers creating more gold for RMT swipers to buy and spend in GDKPs / on the AH.
That only applies when there’s a finite amount of good to be consumed.
In WoW there’s pretty much unlimited, it’s not like GDKP’s are the only source of raid loot, you can always just join a non GDKP run and get the same items for free.
That isnt how WOW works, youre trying to put real life economics into an MMO and it isnt at all how it functions.
How much gold do you think is on Benediction in WOTLK-C??
Billions and billions, yet raid consumes are 8g/ea rofl.
What would make everything sky rocket on Benediction is if you removed the supply, if blizzard removed all the bots then the amount of gold would cause prices to go up because the supply is now gone.
No it’s when money production outpaces good supply. Which is the case when in a GDKP are more than 1 person needs a specific item.
The gold farmers also control the market, they hold back items from the AH to esure prices stay at levels they’re happy with.
Acting like inflation doesn’t exist within the ecosystem of classic is blatently lying or you truely have no clue.
The sams goes for you.
I assume you both have skin in the game though, so I’m not even going to try to convince you’s. You’ve both done your own mental gymnatics to put you on the high ground.
