Nah, I think it’s all because gnomer is less pug-friendly. BFD was way more chill on parse-checking. Pretty much only DUSTTODUST was spooky if the whole team was half-afk. But that’s like checking logs of people for sfk because you wiped on wolfs that one time.

I’m chilling. This system in WoW benefits me. I have full bis, both sets of tier, the chicken and the 420b trinket. I stay fed. I’m the top dog. DNA test came back I’m 100% Himalayan.
The current wow raiding system and toxic elitism benefits me having an unfair advantage versus the peasants. I go into AB and STV dripped out, stomping on SM geared pugs who cry they can’t get into gnomer.
Why would I want it to be fair when it benefits me?

They do find groups, they are just dooming and playing the victim, too much negative thoughts for them to continue. I had a friend like that who quit, not everyone can handle MMOs/social games.

If you have this opinion in a static group you are actually a narcissistic jerk who only thinks about what’s in it for me.
Your full bis comes as the expense of you winning something or getting an opportunity that someone in your group helped you get and likely lost the roll on to you. An appropriate response would be to return the favor.

If he’s fully geared, he has no obligation to “repay” because all his gear was earned by his own effort. The ban on GDKP prevents him to use his full set gear to find his OS set because the MS>OS + x SR loot system is the current only loot system.
Pretty clear they will have to make a choice, sooner the better.
I feel the choice is pretty obvious with them “aiming at casuals” with SoD. But I got a feeling $$ is the reason it’s so hard to just do it.
SoD is targeting casual players, but in p2, they are targeting the worst type of casuals. Devs yielded to them with GDKP ban, now they want to witch-hunt parses/logs and “gatekeeping” for their incompentency.

The point is that if you win 5 items and your buddy wins zero, ideally you would not stop raiding and would help your buddy get his 5 items next raid.
But it sounds like you don’t really have friends so the concept is alien to you.

However, it is worth saying that once your whole raid has BIS the problem emerges again. No reason to play if no one in your raid needs gear unless you just want to parse.
GDKP gives you something to do when your main raid team doesn’t even raid log anymore.
