SOD DOA, why am I surprised?

What a let down! Just like that SOD was stabbed in the back. Didn’t get the zones, raids, etc that was promised. Just some rehashed content and some insanely bad PVP events. Gonna miss you SOD, you had so much potential!

I’m surprised they didn’t release a fresh SoD server without the level brackets.

Don’t give them any ideas…they’ll probably do that once they see the drop off from SoD players and not seeing a lot of us going over to era fresh :stuck_out_tongue:

SoD will see a resurgence in Phase 7 with new content. Until then Fresh will overshadow it.

oh yeah, a bunch of undergeared people trying to come back and get into established runs. Should work out great for them

Why would they release new content for SoD when it’s at it’s lowest player count assumingly?

It doesn’t sound worth the investment for the large company to develop new things for a small, frugal, audience. When in comparison, they can make another shop item for Retail and call it a day.

It’s possible. I’ve seen some pugs bringing in completely fresh players. Seeing pugs in BWL with full blue gear lol. The good groups though will obviously be gear checking tho.

Chances are high by that point you won’t get to be picky

DoA = Dead on Arrival, so no, SoD was not DoA. it is definitely dead now tho :expressionless:

Cata killed SoD (and not because it was good but because the team is too small and Blizz wanted it out for an easy cash grab).

They were kinda cooking before then and even implied new stuff between phases at 60 (which we never got).
