It’s an issue, and beyond that there’s the issue of SoD quests and other items making it over.
It’s a mess, and a big black eye on Anniversary servers.
Don’t let this distract you from the fact Indizzle changed his name and we haven’t heard from Jessica in years after he got caught relentlessly beating his wife.
Why would you think someone who works on the Forums would be in charge of the servers and their coding?

The player purchased the boon. They knew, or should have known it was the wrong vendor price, that is textbook exploiting. You don’t have to manipulate or hack data to exploit.

I’m not disagreeing with you at all by the way. It’s very scummy people sold them on the AH. If I purchased some, they would just be for my personal use or for guildies who want a boon real quick after buffs dropped.
The bigger issue here is the AQ books being traded/sold.
If I were a betting man, I’d wager that when they “fix” this, Fresh servers will just queue into Classic Era folks for the same outcome.

we all know the price of boons (impossible not to) and we all know if they are 20silver something is wrong. and then you look over and see half the other team is from crusader strike and your first reaction is to start stockpiling boons like a nuclear war is about to start
