Adding Arena means more people packing into instanced content which means fewer people out in the world.
In addition, adding Arena would result in ENDLESS crying and demands for âclass balanceâ that will result in the homogenized class design of retail where every class gets multiple CCs and self heals. That destroys class fantasy and identity.

I donât see why they canât just add arena skirmishes to queue for fun with no rewards tied to it like when arenas were available during the classic tbc prepatch

I love arena, but SoD should stay as far away from arena. I would support RBGs, but not arena.

Makes the game feel more alive which is very important, especially in an MMO.
