If you play longer than the first couple months and do content you will get your sockets from the vault. You dont need them all immediately, that little stat boost wont be the difference

The vault item doesnât work on items gained from pvp, including tier gear. I tested this last week. I was thinking it might work on tier, but nope.
Imagine complaining about a few thousand gold.

How can you not afford 20k? An hourish doing your weeklys every week is 20k. Iâve nade 119k this week passively from 3 toons doing weeklys/drops.
My unsocketed toon hits the same ratings my socketed toons hit.

Disagree with this, itâs nice to finally able to make some money while PvPing by selling bloodstones.
Pop a flask of honor and go to town! Especially when Comp stomp comes back week after next.
Takes 1-3hrs per socket depending on how often you are winning.
I think itâs fine, and I like that PVP finally has a way to make gold constantly.
And honestly, getting enough gold to buy these is super easy. I make more than 100,000g a week casually playing with some professions, the weeklies and the gold dailys when up. Perhaps watch some guides on YouTube.
If you really donât have enough time to do either of those things, spend real money for tokens, or perhaps this is just not the game for you.
Bro fr this is why I havenât bothered with gems. You need like 500+ stats in something to see a difference, it seems. Even then, maybe wonât see a % go up, so idk how much you need. I remember when gems and enchants actually felt impactful. Add onto that how quickly I replace gear and itâs just like âman I am just not gonna bother with enchants and gems unless I got a gem slot already on there or itâs hero gear.â
