Behold now my future main (once she reaches 70 ;w;) Vulpera Fire Mage with Engineering
Like got Teleport and Portal spells, Wormholes (once I finish leveling Engineering on her) and my Tent like whilst poor Dracthyr is soarin over to that rare pet or whatever I’ve already used return to camp and caught it.
Like this is basically my Mage when it comes to getting around.
Also fun fact in 8.3 PTR Vulpera did actually get a racial replaced being that we had a chance to find an additional sack of goods when looting humanoids which was replaced with the 8 bag slot increase with the original racial being recycled in Covenant Soulbinds
Meanwhile the tent which acted as a free hearthstone to anywhere on a 1 hour cooldown and also offered a temporary rested zone amazingly made it through
It was a stupid excuse even without the factor of portals and racial teleports. Soar takes just as long as dragonriding to cast, so it wouldn’t have been an advantage. If they were worried about it in the old world they could have left it nerfed there or disabled it, but it’s silly that it’s so hindered in the Dragon Isles.
Honestly, they should have just had two flight skills. One that worked like dragonriding, and one that worked like an old type mount. Give em cast times and all that, but just let them be a cosmetic way to fly for the race that can literally fly in game so long as you’re not a player character.
