this is a massive mistake by the devs what got me back into classic wow was the announcement there was going to be perment classic servers i was so hyped for that hoping every expansion would get the treatment very sad this news makes me want to quit the game. we will probably be forced into cata after wrath if this is the case so there really is no point anymore

seems like it i like how there whole atitude was based on playing how we want but now we cant even pick our expansion. and it really sucks because my tbc realm is more dead than classic era

If numbers are to go by then its not worth keeping tbcc up since barely anyone is still playing classic vanilla, it left a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths with the whole “mid max or not enjoy end game”.

As much as I love tbcc, it still lacked the qol that Wotlk brought to the table.

classic era realms are more populated than some tbc realms though. they need to let us play which ever expansion we want at what ever pace we want and era realms were perfect for that classic realms need regular server merges tbh some the majority of wrath servers are gonna be dead.

theres realms on tbc and on classic with 0 population what needs to happen is they need to consolidate servers not delete an expansion

This does stink to be honest. Not really huge on bc, but i know alot of people are. This honestly has my doubts about the future of classic.

Wrath was my favorite version of the game, and i honestly feel this is a telling sign that there will be no clone services for permanent wrath classic either, which is a shame.

They’ve done the numbers and I would guess the statistics they are seeing on Classic Vanilla and SoM are having them make this decision.

BUT,

I highly suggest making a constructive thread vouching for TBC Forever server.

They said the same thing about RPPVP for Classic WoW. We weren’t going to get one. The voices came forth and now we have Grobbulus.

Maybe if there were not 40 classic servers and 8 SoM classic servers with “low” population splitting the population it wouldn’t be such an issue…So blatantly obvious. OFC they know this.
