So Wrath will bring the end of TBCC?

I saw a video from IGN where the devs stated that once Wrath launches players WILL NOT be able to stay in Burning Crusade the way you could in Vanilla. There will be no cloning service and no Burning Crusade servers. I would like the option to stay in BC, so what do you think?

Correct, TBC will not be allowed to stay behind.

So once again they tell us how we must play.

This is a scary thought because it means there’s potential all wrath will move to cata…

I think the cries will prevail tho but in a couple years

I wouldnt be too shocked, hows the population of SoM? Forget about Classic forever…

TBC will be dead once WotLK releases, makes sense that they don’t want to invest the resources to have a TBC server up.

Maybe in a few years we’ll get one.

The old grandmother they have running classic decided that you do not need TBC. They only use saying like “we listen to the community” when it drives their interests.

Wrath is dead on arrival as it is so I wouldn’t worry too much

I guess private TBC servers aren’t big enough for the both of Blizzard to be a concern.

While I have no desire to stay in TBC myself, I do believe it should be an option.

Go look up the origin story of Ethereum.

I don’t think SoM is off the table

I don’t think blizzard even cares about these. its the players.

They ruin the blizzard IP! goes the purists.

Blizzard is going…dude we got bigger. better things to have our legal council deal with. hell…its free ads. see the big name private server on youtube ads…some players may come to us instead.

SoM is a hard pass for me, regardless of the expansion it’s for. I’m not going to go through the effort of playing an entire expansion just to have everything including characters deleted at the end.

makes sense, considering Vanilla Era is absolutely dead and a waste of server space.

Look at what happened to classic era servers and the long forgotten idea of ‘classic forever’. Yeah, blizzard doesn’t want to waste money on servers nobody is playing on.

SoM TBC (if there ever is one) would more than likely be a longer duration than what we have now lol. What would they do, make it shorter?

Probably true. But the forever Classic servers or whatever they are named were more about protecting the intellectual properties than a worry on how popular they are (or were actually).

The servers could always be consolidated.

Part of the appeal for me was the notion that I would be able to dip into and out of any of these three expansions as I pleased.

My main focus is 60 Classic but I liked the idea of keeping at least one toon in TBC and Wrath so I can hang out there whenever I want.

If thats not the case then Ill simply just stay in classic era and wonder what the heck Blizz was thinking for not providing a handful of tbc era servers.

I kinda liked Wrath but it was the beginning of the end for me. Ideally I could spend as much time in classic era and tbc era as I wanted.
