So will the Horde ever be allowed to raid an alliance city?

With the upcoming raid, and previously SoO it has been twice the Horde gets to watch one of their cities get screwed over.

Do we ever get to return the favor?

Sure. Just level Stormwind, the place is a disorganized dumpster fire. Bonus points if you kill the brat.

We just had this thread. I think it’s still in the top 30.

Consensus was that city raids always suck for both sides, and Alliance posters don’t understand there is a difference between plot-wiping cities off the map and getting to assault them personally.

this thread again, hum?
When we will nuke a horde city to return the favor?
And to be fair, there is a siege of boralus!

We will probably assault Undercity two more times before we ever have a raid on an Alliance city.

No, they force the Horde to destroy cities in cutscenes for maximum feelsbadman civilian casualties, as opposed to fighting hostile mobs that fight back in a raid or instance.

Get pumped for the new exciting raid on Org! Where you will fight through evil horde forces while they torture civilians and corrupt the land with evil!

And for the horde? You get to BE that force! YAY…

None of the Alliance cities are really raid material.

Besides, you get raided.

We get nuked.

Don’t complain.

At least when your cities get screwed with you get sweet Horde themed transmogs out of the deal.

The Horde just lead a successful rescue mission in Stormwind, nearly burned the place to the ground and totaled an entire fleet!

Plus, you guys were in Stormwind to “help” us deal with the Everbloom in Draenor.

That was so painful.

I mean… beyond painful.

The entire city is up in flames and Jaina doesn’t even notice. :fire:

Ran for our lives from the entire alliance leadership more like it. Didn’t feel great to have 4 leaders outright say that jaina could kill them all alone. One of them being a 10k year old mage.

You were in the middle of Alliance territory, you were suppose to feel scared. That doesnt change the fact it end fairly successful for the Horde with an entire fleet sunk to the bottom of Zuldazar.

I assume the flames only started to flare up the moment Zul started talking. Magic and all that.

Sorry i can’t hear you over blizzard planning a sylvanas raid for this expansion.

To be honest, no.

Blizzard writers refuse to make the alliance villains.

We just torched and murdered more than half of an entire Alliance race and destroyed their home. Is that not satisfying enough? Maybe we’ll flood IF with blight through the air ducts, next or cause blackrock mountain to erupt destroying the inhabitants of Shadowforge city.

You know dam well we Horde can’t invade a city by conventional means, we must ALWAYS use dirty and underhanded tactics to win.

No we didn’t. We had quests to kill like 12 mobs, gather 10 things, heal 8 soldiers and then we watched a highly contentious cut scene of Sylvanas burning a city down. It is not the same thing as SoO or what routinely happens to UC.

To quote Averyx:

You…

-Bombed Theramore
-Plagued Gilneas
-Burned Teldrassil
-Burned Stormwind
-Have a warfront attacking Stromgarde (and Darkshore now).

And still want more?

First of all, you sound very Male Human Paladin.

Second, we understand the difference fine. It’s just that the difference doesn’t really matter in this context. The Horde has curbstomped the Alliance six ways to Sunday numerous times, and people like OP still complain because it wasn’t a full on raid.

You want a raid in an Alliance city like Siege of Orgrimmar. Okay! But you only get to kill a few boss NPCs that were relevant to that expansion (we might raise one of them as an awesome death knight a few expansions down the line after we kill one of your guys unceremoniously in a throwaway quest), you can’t stay and garrison it, and it has to be returned to full operating condition at the start of the next expac - that means don’t Blight it, don’t burn it, don’t nuke it.

Oh, and if there’s someone on the Alliance you REALLY wanna kill, you can’t. You can knock them out, but one of the Alliance gets to kill them next expac in a fully fledged cinematic.

As soon as the Alliance returns the favor for all the destroyed cities.

They ran because there was an entire city after them.

Stormwind extraction was like pure horde fanservice and you still want to raid an alliance city?
Hell, the entire war of thorns was horde fanservice “muh for the horde we are so metal because be burn places”

Wait there is more, you guys can raid jaina for da sweet purples in what it was supposed to be the alliance big moment and mekkatorke, 2 racial leaders.
Not only the horde are the bad guys who commit genocide, destroy cities, and raid alliance heros, you want to raid “an alliance city”
because “is not fair”?

Meanwhile the alliance have as enemies a gold elemental, some random loa dudes and a king that we never heard of.
And the best part, they all drop dumb troll related xmog.
While we still are looking for an alliance character who actually destroy a city from the horde, but why does that even matter if blizzard makes them raid bosses anyway.

Sigh.
