I am not in a an organized raid group or M+ group. In every other expo I have pugged my through character progression.
Pugging in SL is dead. Holy f$%#$% I just spent more than an hour trying to get into M+ groups 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 … zip.
What’s the point of playing SL? Is this the worst content gap in recent memory? Is everyone just PvPing?
No we do things with our guild and friends cause pug life is just, I dont have words for it it’s that horrible

If you aren’t having fun, then the appropriate response to the question in your title should be “there is no reason.”
It’s because you’re feral. Melee dps struggles to justify their existence in pugs. You’ll need to run your own keys and be knowledgable enough about the dungeon in question to lead the group.

As much as I enjoy shadowlands one thing I can agree with is the pacing in this game can be very punishing.
What I mean by that is either you get ahead of the curve or you stay behind it.
It’s really hard to get into groups if you join mid way. The reason for this is maybe because the same people who clear the raids and 14s in the first month are the same people that make the group now, so the standard is set very high and above necessary. New players feel very intimidated to make a group.
Ya, because feral is terrible for getting into groups, my main now is SP 215 ilvl, but still only 750 io because I can’t get into groups.
I’ve pugged my way every expo since MoP …its never been this terrible.

Don’t know! I run with friends or a guild. IO score don’t matter to me! You think it’s bad now, wait until 9.1 and your IO is baseline.

Naw brah plenty of groups for mythic plus but, why would anyone take you when you’re cleary a bad player lol. Maybe try timing some of your lower keys dude you couldn’t even time a 7 PF

The only reason you should keep playing is if you have game time left on your account. Other than that it’s a dead game with no current content. Most players who are still playing have fallen back on old content grinding / tmog runs (during the first phase of a brand new full price expansion).
Why do you need people to tell you why you should still play or not? Are you seriously not able to make your own mind up?
Why are you asking us? If you don’t enjoy the game, find better ways to spend your free time 
On a more serious note, I’d have left months ago if I wasn’t in an active guild.
And now even hyper casuals will have built in Raider io. Maybe with a list of faces to go with invite worthiness: 
I wonder how many complaints would die off if people realised this is an mmo and meant to be played in a social environment. Join guilds, get friends, this game may allow pugging but you have to know you are choosing the worst way to play.
I continue to play because I still enjoy doing so. If you can’t find reasons to play, fun or not, don’t continue to do so. It sounds like you’re at the end of your rope looking for fun things to do in the game. If that’s the case, stop playing. There’s no need to spend money, time, etc. on a hobby you’re finding no enjoyment in.
If one is fully vaccinated, one should forget WoW and embrace the magical and mysterious land called the Real World.
Why are you asking others? Why not find a reason, if you can, and act accordingly.
Can’t forget how stale the patch is, having a x.0 patch lasting this long is tough for everyone.
