Blizzard thinks “fat” is having a tumor for a belly. Look at Kul’tirans… everything else is alright, but the belly is Robert Baratheon levels of big.
Also, they seem to love huge arms and tiny legs for some reason. Which is my greatest complain regarding male pandaren.

Exactly this, they don’t look normal fat, they look weird fat, the proportions are off putting.

Because at this point there are only two races for me.
Dwarf or Orc.
Male pandas bellies are too low. As a result, it screws with the geometry and texture of armors.
Please. Blood elves were the high elves pre-MoP. It never ends. It will never end. The heat death of the universe will come and the Alliance will still believe Blizzard wronged them all those years ago.
There are better races for rogue, but few seem to upset people as much as the glorious pandaren.
Oh but I do play a Pandaren have a few BM hunters as well but this is now my most favorite.

I have a few Pandaren but I understand why people don’t want to play them.
When it comes to gear they kinda just don’t look right in most things and on top of that their racials are…well pretty bad.
It doesn’t help Horde only want to play belfs but it does reinforce the fact that people prefer things that are aesthetically pleasing and pandas just aren’t that in most cases.
Funny, if Horde got all the races we asked for, where are Ogres?
Anyways, I’ve been holding out for Panderan druids, which has been just as successful as my wait for Ogres.
Honestly, I can’t decide on a class to play as a Pandaren. Currently have a rogue. I just don’t really feel motivated to play my alts.
I have 5 pandas [thanks to the new dk]. I also have 3 void elves, a couple worgen and dwarves, NE, gnome, etc… And that’s just the alliance side. I could nitpick the races I don’t like, but what’s the point? We all have our preferences, and I’m going to tell them how much they rock it when I see them because that’s their toon [and they love it].
Enjoy what you like, and everyone else will too. No one really cares in the end.

So I made my six year old a trial account so she could dink around in the game, and she would like me to make a panda bear with her, so I guess I’m making something that isn’t a troll!
Completely subjective.
I don’t recall asking for any of the allied races we currently have on Horde. I did however want to stand upright … so I’ll give you that at least.
Regarding your initial question, I don’t play them because I do not find them aesthetically appealing to me. I made one long enough to buy the mounts, then deleted it.
I do. But I do not main a pandaren. Largely this is because my pandaren is a brewmaster - because I love the idea of that spec - but I am not a good tank. And I don’t want to be a tank main. So my pandaren has become one of my most loved alts.

I hadn’t looked in the past to realize there was a different model used in WC3. (I never played WC3.) But I looked it up and really do like it better than the chubby models.
However, I do still play my panda. Or as much as I can given the current attempt to exterminate all alts. While she was rolled at the start of MoP (I had her name already picked out before the expansion went live) I didn’t do much of anything at all with her until Legion, but that was more an issue of time than anything else.
I like the slimmer model you mentioned better, but I still love my panda. I think she’s cute.
Which you would be shocked to hear me say that with affection if you knew how irritated I usually get by the word “cute”.
I don’t play them because I will fall in love playing one.

I mostly just play male characters and the male pandas animations are an eye sore.
I have 5 of them for males all melee and one female mage. Sadly i have swapped mains to DH so they are not getting much play time. Although fire mage is very fun in pvp

No one cared about pandaren until they could become death knights. They’ve been in the game for, like, seven years.
