Lore mainly.
because a spell casting werewolf is cool imo. I really like Shapeshifting as a concept and worgen adds that little extra level to a Druid. two forms is one more than other Druid options.
running wild really fits in with visual were creature. just too bad that there isnât a unarmed visual combat option for worgen. (short of using no weapon at all)
in any content or media, the beast races are the more unique and interesting characters. there is so much media that boil down to human. dead human. tall human. human with pointy ears and purple skin. short stocky human. tiny human. pale human with pointy ears. dark purple human with pointy ears etc. there is no originality. all of them feel very low budget options created by needing to keep costs down. and to that end, its actually disappointing when more interesting concepts, like werewolves for example, end up in the category of âhuman with more hair and different eye colorâ
Had to be on the Alliance side. Void Elves are pretty neat. They remind me of the Drow from other games. My old Everquest main was a Drow necromancer. I like the concept of the Worgen but I donât like the fact you are forced into Worgen mode for combat. Itâs a shame because I like their British accents. My hunter was a Worgen before switching to a void elf after I unlocked it.
Because KT look cool imo and I love their racial.
I think itâs cool being a human in a world full of centaurs/bull people/werewolves/elves. Just kinda cool being regular joe running around for 60 years and then dieing to a crocodile
after 60 years, you confuse your pet crocodile with the wild one in the cannel? ![]()
Trolls are a beautiful race. Our feet are unique too.
stretches feet in the air and wiggles toes
Caz I played a forsaken lock on my mates account and wanted to play a different horde race and class when I got my own account. With that my troll hunter was made
And then a year later I made a forsaken lock⊠lol
Because Druid is limited to trolls or taurens⊠wish we had more choices.
Way back when this game came out, I started out as a human paladin. About a few good months later or so a friend started playing and wanted to play on the horde. So I wanted to join him. I researched on what I wanted to play and wanted a somewhat equivalency of a human paladin, so I decided on an orc shaman.
The other two races tauren and trolls didnât interest me, though I do like taurens.
A few other reasons why I play orc has to do with another orc shaman pvper Creed that made pvp movies back in the day on warcraftmovies. That really also inspired me to make an orc shaman.
I also like Thrall as a character, and what he did for the orcs.
And last but not least I enjoy the lore of orcs, on how they persevered through so much hardship to be where they are at today, truly admirable.
So thatâs why I love orcs!! And will always play as one until the very end!!
Humans, on account of theyâre relatabler than most other races. My main is a human warlock.
Fastrada, here, is Forsaken because some of them come off as cute to me. This, coming from someone who was terrified of Dead Hand from Ocarina of Time as a kid.
Back in Vanilla WoW I played as a Night Elf druid who was my main and a Night Elf warrior. While I enjoyed both I when ahead and made one of each class come BC. Then Blizzard announced Worgen and I knew I was going to spend far too much money to race change my characters. The idea of playing a monstrous werewolf has always been my thing in D&D and it coming to WoW made me happy. Yes it was the worst model in WoWs history and still needs to be brought up to par when it comes to customization and needs to be the lore correct 8 foot tall monster they should be but I will never change my main to anything other than a Worgen. I do have a draenei paladin, monk and shaman as Worgen canât play those classes and have a Night Elf DH but thatâs just for the sake of having each class in the game.
We are the master race
I actually have enough toons that I can play all the races. Extra belves happened because the old racial bonuses had real value sometimes. My only Forsaken is a male warrior so he can both use the arcanite ripper mog AND do the metal-head-banging dance. (His name is Malmsteem, since Yngwie was already taken. This toon is the one with the actual arcanite ripper.)
This toon became a night elf because she needed to be an alliance race (I was joining an Alliance guild), and I just wasnât that excited by the other options then available. I have a few other nelf toons who were created to deal with in-game restrictions (my Druid), or to respond to something in-game (my nelf hunter, created during BfA, as a response to the burning of Teldrassil. She is a survivor, with the burn scars, and she has 2 nelf-specific hunter pets, named Ashes and Tears.)
vulpera right now.
extra bag space.
Mark/recall once an hour.
Seem to look really good in most transmog, which is required for me to play the race
Iâm lazy. Mechagnomes are like Swiss army knives.
I play a lot of different races, both factions and genders but I am more fond of the pretty ones. Blood Elves, Void Elves, Humans, Night Elves. Iâd play Kul Tiran if theyâd make their faces more attractive. They are very blunt and course looking, especially the males.
Horde needs a âprettyâ druid and Shaman option. Alliance needs a pretty Shaman option.
I do like the Nightbourne too. But the males look so pi$$y. To be honest, other than void and blood elves, all the males in this game are either unattractive to me or too angry looking.
I am speaking merely for myself here.
In addition to the excellent transmog options, I like how Void Elves occasionally transition to a pure void form.
Belfz reign supereme.
