I just finished them this morning. 193ilvl boomy. Honestly, pleasantly surprised. I had much better powers in the second wing but it actually started to ramp up. Better than the snooze fest it used to be. Granted that was still fun but, this was more engaging. Even died once in the last boss because he had this very quickly stacking enrage buff (not soothable) and was eventually just absurdly fast and one shot me. Small fighting space.
Any other druids have any luck? I assume the tanks are still easy clears.
I’m curious what the HP pool size the NPC had at layer 8. How much HP did the last boss have? Elites? How long did it take to finish? Did you stealth and skip anything?
I found layer 5 to be a very long slog. Like dragging my feet through knee deep mud.
I got 1 down and failed on the final boss on the second wing. Pretty mediocre powers though.
And the final boss HP was 760k. Got him down sub 50k most attempts though.
The floor bosses were a real pain. Had to abuse roots dmg as much as possible.

I play as guardian, and on my first attempt at 7, every single power was buffing Roots damage. Like, I’ve never once used roots before, give me something else.
did 7 on lunch as bear, gonna do 8 later but its been a snoozefest hardest mob was actually that bonus boss with quest that does WW and chains some stairjumping during WW and got him down too.
Got slime boss down to like 2% before dying several times as balance, but that’s with me stealth speedrunning through, so I’m gonna have to slog again to get more powers.
The soul blast spammer floor bosses are a pain, but just requires a ton of kiting/losing/healing
Uhm… elites varies. Like the tower elites were different then the runes and the “floor boss” was also different. I’d say like 160k, 270k, 430k. In that order I mentioned. Last boss was around… 780k maybe? I don’t know how long it took. I kept a steady pace. I did not skip anything though. I always kill every single mob in every corridor.
And yeah I didn’t use roots at all on these two runs. I typically don’t go down that “build” because there’s no guarantee to get multiples. I did have to do some kiting on some elites because I double pulled on accident and that stacking buff to 10 makes them un-ccable. Annoying lol.
Guardian here. Cleared both Layer 6s last week pretty easily. Got absolutely wrecked on Layer 5 this week.
there is a big difference between last week 6 and this week 7 as bear, i think tanks got nerfs and there is other changes
Try this week 6. Way harder than last week’s.
I did both, had to duo with my tank buddy though, apparently the buffs to their damage basically make it extremely difficult to deal with double elite packs and bosses
