Wasn’t there a vote event where we were going to get a tree mount when SL launched?
EDIT - Thought it was coming out at launch. Apparently its just Q1. This is Q1, so they have a few months left I guess.

They said early 2021 it’ll come out, not release.
Most likely it’ll either be with Blizzcon in February or in patch 9.1.

Growing trees takes time, growing trees that are able to move and carry people takes even more time.

I do that now in tree form!!!
They’re saving it to manipulate player numbers. When the population drops low enough next month they will release it to draw players back for a day or two.
Alot won’t come back. With no remarkable content people just won’t be bothered.
Coming off the back of zones like mechagon and Nazjatar, Shadowlands doesn’t even come close.

Blizz will pull a fast one and replace flight in 9.1 with the tree mount. Make us wait til 9.2 again!
