Time skip where this is all a memory faded into nothingness might work, return to an azeroth setting with wildly different landscapes through the passage if time passing.
Or, my preference, we awaken from this disaster narrative and SLands was just a bad dream concocted by N’Zoth, who has risen properly with a black empire expansion
Either way, the best way forward really is to pretend that none of this garbage ever happened.

The events following Cataclysm were all a collective dream. 
tbh I’m expecting a soft reboot. BfA and Shadowlands have done some major damage to the game and need to be jettisoned.
Could be a fun concept. New characters, new factions, new wars and the scars from the aftermath.

Multiverse / parallel-lore timelines.
Eg, a parallel reality where non-elf races became DHs.
I would play the hell out of World of Warcraft 40K.

I honestly would love a storyline where we lost and I feel useless. I’m tired of always being the champion that saves azeroths booty at this point.

The other cosmic forces such as the light, void. There’s a pantheon of life as well. We’ve never actually been inside the Twisting Nether either.
Go back to azeroth and have a quieter expansion that has us trek through some new azeroth hidden zones and at the end we get a peak at the next big baddie that takes us to 11.0 which will be some other big threat that we kamehameha.
