Based on past discussions with the Tinker fans, they absolutely loathe the idea of a tech class being available to any races other than goblin, gnome, and vulpera.
Calling a tech class Artificer means they would need to at the very least include draenei and nightborne with their technology, and that’s an automatic no-go for the Tinker weirdos.
