It’s silly to think BC won’t be released. It seems there are some people who will continue to play classic over and over again. It’s unlikely that’s the majority of the player base. Most will not replay the same game endlessly. I certainly won’t. I’m not doing anything new in classic. I had alliance and horde alts in vanilla. I played 90% of both factions quests. Did all the dungeons many times. Level up all the professions I wanted to on more than one alt. I didn’t raid in vanilla but I didn’t want to. I probably won’t raid in classic. I’m replaying the game once again but I won’t play it twice again or three times again. I think most people won’t. BC will come out or most of the players will leave. Sooner if Pantheon comes out and is a good game. Many people are waiting for it.
Blizz will look at declining subs and a declining player base in classic and before it gets to bad will release BC to see if it can stop the decline. Might be a year from now, might be two. But it’s inevitable that it will happen.

The true title of this thread should be ‘when will you get banned for posting sacrilege material’.
Anyone who mentions or advocates the cause of TBC or WOTLK while classic is happening should be banned.
We need a special ‘Advocates for TBC/WOTLK’ Forum Section. So Classic players don’t have to sift through this drek.

You want TBC? Why dont you head over to Shadowlands instead of trying to force your false ideologies down someone elses throat? This is WoW classic. They released WoW classic. Not TBC, and CERTAINLY not WOTLK.
Burning Crusade and WOTLK advocates are a pestilence and a plague that must be removed by force one way or another. These insects plague and degrade the true WoW classic experience and we should have the option to report these pests so they can be forced to migrate over to Shadowlands where all retail garbage stays.

If there was a paid service to force migrate all retail advocates who has a classic toon one way back to retail server, I can gurantee you that you would be first on my list.
I would definitely play TBC over Classic anytime any days, TBC is pretty much Classic but as an actual finish product, not saying Classic suck but TBC is pretty much Classic 2.0

I disagree. I and i beleive alot of people consider the original trilogy that focused on the lore from the Warcraft RTS games to be “Classic”. ie, vanilla, tbc, wotlk.

Classic refers to the original version of World of Warcraft without your so-called TBC and WOTLK.
classic =/= TBC
classic =/= WOTLK
classic is the original and authentic re-release of the 2005 game which millions of players including myself hold near and dear to our hearts.
In due time? TBC? WOTLK? Rest assured I will be fighting to my last breath to ensure this degratory and toxic spillover of retail won’t happen.

Focus in the present, and think og what the present can bring to the future.
Right now, WoW classic is, and forever will refer to the orignal base version of thr game. It should, will, and last for perpetuity until the end of time as a pristine, ageless, and timeless meuseum.

You’re right. There was never a timeline and honestly the fact not everything is released goes against Classic being strictly a museum game.
D3 is technically now a museum game, I don’t have to wait for time gated crap to play that game.
The arrogance you display is astounding: “Focus on right now, except I’m going to talk about the future anyway”.
Classic will not last as long as you think it will. Certainly not if it never moves past Naxx.

Just ignore them, they’re toxic players and in any world chat in game outside of the forums they get shut down fast. Nochangers are their own worse enemy. Sympathy goes out the widow due to the hostile bashing of other opinions and childish tantrums that only they matter.

Toxic? The same could be said for you. Wanting to remove classic just for your own preferred version of a game after the classic community fought tooth and nail to have this version of the game live just makes me churn.
