So when is Classic TBC

I would roll on a classic server that ended in TBC though.

I think they could drop tbc in a couple years and just give players the option to port one of their classic toons over to a tbc realm. Similar to how it works when you copy a toon on live into ptr.

That way classic players are unaffected but people who want to continue can.

You are not prepared!

I loved TBC and hope that they progress to there eventually!

Well classic should have at the very most ~18-24 month duration (I would even be happy with 12 months), so TBC should not take longer than 24 months from classic launch.

Otherwise just flood private servers.

I don’t understand why some people are so desperate for BC servers. Classic I understand because that content doesn’t exist anymore, but everything from BC is literally still in the retail product.

Dude it is not the same because you cant play the way you could in bc and you cant even do haala anymore because of sharding.
BC content pretty much dead you will hardly find people there anymore except in hellfire, ever since cataclysm made dungeons give the best exp ever well around that its vacant.

But most importantly is talents and stuff, I can see why people want it it was the best expansion to ever add so much onto the game without taking as much from the original game.
TBC wrath and just about any expansion can’t be played as it should anymore because blizzards policy was make people reach max level and make old content useless except for dungeons finder spamming.

So no you are wrong about it being there it kinda is but not really, the stat changes in the game pretty much made much of the gear meaningless in the stat squishes, class changes, and profession squishes making it very bad experience.

So yeah current wow doesn’t really offer them tbc experience, in wrath it did somewhat but everything after didn’t.

Turn off experience at level 70 to stop leveling, take off heirlooms, and boom you have the old BC experience without having to cry for Blizzard to add something that’s already in the game.

I would love TBC over Classic anyday, but I’m still happy with Classic.

I don’t envy living this narrow minded. Scaling and a list of other changes invalidate this argument. You witnessed a community ran project 60 or 70? It’s not a true experience.

And you’re right all the stuff is “there” which is exactly why I’m arguing it shouldn’t be that hard to make a classic tbc server now that they’ve re-engineered all the backend stuff for the classic release.

Well consider Classic as part 1 of TBC release. Go ahead and level to 60, then when TBC releases know that they will provide a pathway to continue leveling it up to 70.

It’ll be right around 2 years.

I truly loved TBC, started there and since experiencing classic as it was, I would love to shift to tbc, they do not have to overwrite classic just give us the opportunity to go over if we wish, let the classic people stay in classic.
