Maybe a WoW 2 can do better what the current game failed so miserably at for years.
The biggest issue though is the devs only decided to tell one cohesive story starting with DF and the Worldsoul Saga. It should’ve been a cohesive story from the very beginning
Doesn’t he have the elements again? He’s educating Earthern on the merits of the power of Storms so I just kind of figured he did.
Also elements are shown to be as capricious and greedy as mortals. Goblins wield their primal might through bargaining.
Thrall just find a new service provider it’s not that big of a deal.

the story was never good. Even Warcraft 3 was a copy of Starcraft.
He also used the elements in Shadowlands, building bridges across gaps along with Jaina in the Sylvanas raid fight…which now that I think about it, is also something he did way back in Legion during the initial Broken Shore assault. Does making earth bridges somehow not involve using the elements?

It doesn’t even need to be a WoW 2.
Just finish the World Soul saga, sunset this “version” of Warcraft’s story, and start over from the beginning with all the villains, characters, and races intact (Make up new lore explaining how the other races joined the Alliance/Horde/Stayed Neutral sooner).
Pair this with a world revamp. I would be fine with them just making HD versions of the vanilla world with new quests.
Seriously I don’t even necessarily want a WoW 2. Someday, of course, but that’s not necessary yet. I think the game is in a good place in a lot of ways. But the world died in BFA, and Shadowlands sent it to the Maw.

– Dracarian on the forums might hear you and argue against such vehemently as to why the lore & story should “NEVER” get any orc content or orc character spotlight — EVER again! 
I loved the story & lore up until BFA … 
But man, Shadowlands just cooked it to an absolute burnt ruin — If WoW was a steak, it wouldn’t even be “Well-done” – It’d just be “Congratulations!” → as they managed to achieve the impossible @ desecrating a glorious IP and bringing it to ruin. lol
