I think GDKP is also a symptom of PuG culture.
Join a guild. I really don’t care if MS>OS or some other system slows down your quest for BiS if you’re trying to PuG more than the spider wing or AQ20 lol

Even though I probably won’t be playing Fresh Era I think its pretty great OP and its a positive sign for future iterations of classic.

I am happy to see the GDKP stay banned, as it should.
But what about for those of us with odd schedules that can’t commit to a guild? Do we just have to always run with whatever bad pug is forming during our hours or just not play the game? GDKP allowed me to raid whenever I felt like it.
GDKP discussion brings out some real psychopaths who just automatically call anyone who prefers it a cheater, while happily raidlogging and buying all their consumes off the AH, most of which were made either by a bot, or using mats sold by a bot. People are 10000% still swiping on SoD, people are paying 34g+ for bogling roots.

Not only that – GDKPs allowed you to actually have successful and enjoyable raids, with people playing high level – an aspect that you rarely have it on pugs.

regular DKP can accomplish the same thing - in a guild or static group of friends that will form bonds that will last a lifetime.
I’ve never bought gold. I also farmed titanium on a dead server prior to ICC coming out that funded my week 1 shadow’s edge when I sold well over 1000 titansteel.
Blizzard has to do their part with bots, granted.
That said, I applaud the fact that the GDKP cheaters won’t get to ruin this version of classic by default.

I didn’t ask for your life story. All you GDKP cheaters who claim they don’t have time to raid sure all seem to have all kinds of time to farm
if you can’t play the game right, you shouldn’t dictate how the game is played by others.
Couple hours here and there to prep for the most important item for my class, is totally reasonable.
