Priests are going to be the least played class because it’s a nightmare to level them. Or, it was for me anyways.
Hunter the most popular because they are a joy to level.

How are hunters popular when you have to worry about your pets leaving you, and buying ammo?
Hunters don’t worry about this because it’s an extremely easy fix. Just keep food on you.
It’s not a big deal, especially if you’re an engineer.
Check out the 40,000+ response census. How much stock would you put in this? Is 40,000 responses a good representation of the playerbase?

It’s always so hard to find a warlock when you need him (and there’s five when you don’t) even in retail
How often do you have to feed them?
quite often when just tamed, but it gets less and less as loyalty goes up.
Hunter pets do not need fed to much unless they die or when you first get them.
Did some internet searching and found info from people that actually play Classic. So figure they have gotten over the new car smell as private servers are old and settled in their ways, this is how classes have leveled out for them.
Its definitely something to consider.

I look forward to an entire new generation of druids being jaded and bitter about being a druid…
I also expect nobody to stay druid, and to see many hunters and mages.
I appreciate that, I thought it was so obvious it went without saying.
As I suspected, most y’all are basic and roll humans.
Solo, yes. I think they shine a lot more when leveling with others. Support DPS + Support healing. Which is kind of what the class was meant for. I don’t think it was meant for solo-play.
Even though said polls are a fraction of Classic’s population, even smaller long-term. Shaman are certainly under-represented in retail - where all three specs are viable and fleshed out compared to its Classic predecessor - why would anyone think they’d be popular there?
Shaman. The Not-Tank, Not-DPS, Meh-Healer.
Awesome in PVP though because of one single ability.
pfft, Humans are short.
NE4Life
Don’t forget inferior and pathetic, they are that too.
You camp threads just so you can reply immediately to someone. You really do need a life, they don’t sell them in stores, you have to work at it. No sooner had I posted I decided not to even get into this kind of garbage with you, but you were replying as soon as I deleted the post.
10/10 Trolling. You are a pro.
But I guess that is so blatantly obvious too.
Stop bringing pserver info in when it has NO merit. Classic isn’t remotely close to pservers.
Hello Friend!
Im sorry but I have to disagree. When I’m making decisions or want to give advice rather than conjecture, I research.
Knowledge is power, a contrasting source of information is a good thing,
I even said this in my post, not as clearly as I should have apparently.
And yes, I only have certain times I can sit here with other like minded people and read even more information interesting to me. It may have seemed that I pounced, but I was here reading the thread. I had no idea that quickly replying was a crime.
Hunters -> Warrior -> Rogue will be most populated in that order.
Druid -> Paladin = Shaman most likely for least populated. Druid being least.
