So we stream and exploit but dont report on beta?

Id rather publicity from people who are watching the game not poki bouncing on her seat when she gets a green drop ROFL (Hyperbole)

When a girl says her age add 5 years onto it and you have her real age.

I can’t believe Blizz would release a closed beta in this sad, sad state. For shame.

The game is doomed, ladies and gentlemen. We should all just leave and go back to BFA. That’s the best we are going to do.

OP:
I hate to tell you, but this sort of stuff went on before streaming, too. Except the debates about whether to report it occurred on a certain notorious forum that centered around hacking and exploits.

These days, a lot of people seem to forget that they’re on stream broadcasting their lives. Stuff like this will get reported sooner rather than later, as used to be the case.

yea but has she played more Vanilla than me?
Definitely not. And if so then we are on par.

Beta tester beta testing the game, plz ban Blizzard

She said she only tried BFA in clip someone linked, she never played WoW before that.

Then media influence has a 2/1 ratio for being a veteran. Good to know.

Guess she’s there to market the game to her audience for Blizzard, and what she gains from it, is exposure to WoW viewers. She basically wants to be relevant, she saw Asmon had 100k views and how Classic is doing great, so she figured she’d stream beta too. I don’t blame her, bit scummy from Blizz, but it benefits them so it’s a logical move.

Oh yea from a business prospective i get it 100% but from a consumer/PR prospective thats bad for business.

Will it taint player’s view for a bit? Yeah.
Will it affect Blizz poorly in long run? Doubtful, people forget these things.

Things like that WILL make it so we see a streamer quit and 2000 people drop off the server; We will keep say 25% of the viewers of her because they enjoy the game on its own but things like that are BAD for business and long run numbers; this tells me blizz has no faith in classic and are just saying they do to appease us.

Arguably I would say having a few people test when they have no idea what they are doing could be a good thing - fresh perspective.

Yeah I know, and it’s even worse if streamer transfers, that’s bigger guarantee viewers swap as well, which is bad.

Im not saying people From BFA shouldnt get to try it or test it; i just dont like the prospect of someone who has only played for a month being able to skew the algorithm because theyre a streamer and gain that 20% bonus to media influence.

At the end of the day it IS random and she got lucky but its the addition to her luck pool that bothers me.

The streamers aren’t there to report bugs, they’re there to make free advertisement for Blizz. They’re doing their jobs.

To be fair… it’s not like they ever did say they had faith. All they said is come hell or high water, Classic is sticking around as long as Retail exists.

That alone should tell you everything you need to know about how they feel about this project. Let’s just be glad the Classic devs want to do it right.
