Agree, looked at when season 2 starts and assume need to spend day before. I read the news, but daw nothing. So frustrating.
Except Blizzard has changed their stance and how they operate on game related updates before. This kind of logic also doesn’t apply to anyone who didn’t play WoW during those previous transitions. How would they know?

Why is Undermined delves rewarding season 1 gear then? I just ran Sleuce Tier 9 and got a 603 season 1 trinket from the bountiful chest.

I assume this means I could still go get credit on season 1 dungeons for algari dungeoneer? I forgot to take care of that because I was leveling alts with timewalking.
Out of curiosity - is there a reason with Season 4 of DF and now Season 2 of WW, y’all disabled upgrading the previous season’s gear at ~10 PM PST the day prior to the patch?
It’s still the current “ecosystem” at that time. So why was it disabled almost 12 hours early?

Getting a trinket you wanted from your vault this week and then being unable to upgrade it feels bad, like, REALLY BAD…

Also, it’s a pretty simple fix, Final Fantasy 14 does a similar currency system. (Though they just use a completely new currency each time, it’s easy to simplify it into just two)
Example:
Season 1? Flightstones and Season 1 Crests.
Season 2? Valorstones and Season 2 Crests.
Season 3? Automatically convert all Season 1 Flightstones and Crests into Gold, and re-use them as the Season 3 Currency.
Season 4? Automatically convert all Season 2 Valorstones and Crests into Gold, and re-use them as the Season 4 Currency.
You literally just need to alternate the upgrade items each season, rather than reusing them. That also gives people PLENTY of time to upgrade old items. You can even add a vendor that lets you convert the newer season’s "X"stones into the lower season’s "X"stones, so they can actively upgrade things to hunt for catalyst transmog. Since you have a higher level item with the new season, no need to let them downgrade crests.

This should have been clearly communicated. I went through 8 dungeons last week for absolutely no reason as I now cannot upgrade the BIS trinket I got in vault. Thanks for nothing blizzard. Absolutely garbage communication and once again you just dick people around and waste their time.

Stop being a bliz simp. It doesnt say at all that they would render the vault rewards this week useless, prevent us from upgrading or catalyzing anything.
