It’s clearly surprising to a lot of people as you can see in this thread.
I bailed on SL quite early and wasn’t around for DF. So all this is new to me.
I have been trying to get some clarification from these forums but it seems many people are just as confused.
It wouldn’t kill the WoW community management team to post a sticky telling us exactly what would happen in detail (what currencies are being wiped and when, which parts of the game are transiting to next season and when, … etc.) every season change. Some official communication to clear up any misunderstandings would have been nice.
