So uhm, can you let this die?

Exactly.
Crap DPS joke players cause problems, then come in here crying because no one wants to heal or tank for them.
Its almost entertaining.

You clearly dont know a thing about healing.
Just stop.
All YOU have to do is beat down a boss. Any four yearold kid could do it.
the healer has to keep the entire team alive.
Sorry but HIS job is FAR harder than yours OR the tanks
unlike some, Ive run and continue to run all three roles extensively.
I know which is harder and more stressful.
Healer by FAR is the most stress. mostly caused by attitudes like yours.

Sure, they’re capable of it, but if it happens in a dungeon I’m tanking, they get the boot. Nothing is more annoying than DPS pulling for me. It’s basic dungeon etiquette to not be annoying like that. If a tank likes it, so be it, I hate it and never let it happen. If I have to take a 30 minute debuff and leave, no sweat off my back, I have tons of alt tanks if I want to.

Oof, this just screams of entitlement.

There is a ‘crabs in a bucket’ facet to it that’s mildly amusing. Just dragging themselves down, by dragging others down.

This thread: “Oh, you’re new to healing and had a rough patch? Hah! You SUCK! Go back to DPS!”

Next thread: “Why arent there enough heals/tanks!? My queues are too long, we need heal and tankbots Blizzard!”

It would be nice if more people posted helpful tips/information instead. The game’s better when you encourage others and help them progress rather than needlessly tearing them down.

Sure, but they will kick you for sucking as a healer.

were you going for irony?

Do you even know what irony is?

The real question is…do you?

Since nothing I said is ironic, you should be asking yourself that.

I like when we get a new healer or tank to SAYS theyre new…and there are no jerks in the group.
We had a guy new to tanking running thru Blackrock depths. We did all of the bosses just for fun. We were in there over an hour. Took some breaks and talked for a bit. It was a really nice time. Everyone worked with the tank because he was learning the ropes. No one was rushing him acting like a baby because it was taking longer.
it was a nice time. Too few and far between.

I see. Then you dont. got it.

I mean you are more than welcome to point it out but considering you won’t be able to…yeah, you have no clue what irony is.

You have the ability to move though.

Plan ahead. Start moving before the pack is dead. If you’re 40 yards behind the tank and you let him get out of range because you were daydreaming, that’s not his fault. It’s yours.

If Im healing and I see them pulling for you, I’ll vote to kick them myself.
Its ok if its late in the expansion and we’re all overgeared. No problem most of the time, except if there are new players, maybe.
But etiquette? Dont expect these DPS sorts who act like this to know what the word means let alone work for the team instead of trying to see if they can cause a wipe.

what a joke.
Its a TEAM effort…so NO…if the tank RUNS AHEAD thats on HIM, no one else.

Well, no.

The tank has to move ahead, because that’s literally where the mobs are.

If he’s continually outranging the healer, it’s because the healer is slow to react and not thinking ahead.

There is plenty of opportunity to position yourself so you won’t be outranged for the next pack. Stop blaming everyone else for your own failings.

Lol people are so silly. One moment people complain about the tank not pulling fast enough and the next moment people complain about the tank pulling too fast.

give me a break. I TANK. I know how NOT to leave my healer in the dust, even when I can. If Im running break neck speeds sorry but it aint my healers fault.
Did you somehow miss the part where the healer has FOUR players to keep track of while youre smoking thru the next zone?
I play all three roles. Try this with someone who doesnt.

Every healer has 4 players to keep track of, but most don’t seem to have a problem keeping in range of the tank.

Instead of whining why not just take my advice? Don’t stand so far behind the tank. Then you have less distance to cover when he moves. It’s actually quite simple.
