Okay we’ll keep it then. The Horde needs a good city that is actually a city. Zandalar doesn’t count because its terrible.
I will not tolerate this zandalar slandalar
It’s not a lie though.
The upper city is reclaimed and Brill is partially rebuilt as of Shadowlands 9.2.5. There’s a Questline, doable by both factions, where you help Calia find a way to get rid of the Blight with the help of the denizens of Maldraxxus. Why they stopped at the upper city is unclear, but yes, Lordaeron once more belongs to the Forsaken. They’re now lead by a Desolate Council, consisting of Calia Menethil, Lillian Voss, Dark Ranger Velonara, Deathstalker Commander Belmont and Master Apothecary Farranel.
Zandalar is beautiful, but yes, it sucks. Ziggurats irl were not cities or housing, they were temples. No one would willing live in a building that’s 90% steps.
and then ironforge burned down, too
When did that happen and how?
Imagine how great your calves would look though
Godbert from FF14, but only from the waist down.
Open up that zone! Since UC got blighted we need our territory to resettle!
Has Gilneas been used for RP otherwise? Its just an empty zone perpetually locked at the end of the Worgen intro quest line, right?
For Alliance it is. IIRC the horde actually do a bunch of questing in it.
For Epic Role Play it sure is! One of the main buildings is a pretty notorious spot. Way back in WoD/Legion time, sometimes my guildies and I would stealth around on our rogues/druids looking for people RPing in /s and rate their RP lmao
However most of the time it was Alliance players so we couldn’t understand them or people being smart and using party chat lol
Think I’ll cruise in later after work and check it out. Don’t think I’ve ever been back to it after I do the Worgen starter (which is still fun as heck and less tedious than Gobbo).
Remember when we were all calling dibs on zones we wanted and I called Gilneas and now no one will stay out even though I claimed it?
I’m thinking about calling a lawyer about it.
Look.
We’ve come to the conclusion that Gilneas belongs to the Forsaken because there are more unliving Gilneans than living.
Sorry, this totally unbiased legal firm we hired in Bilgewater said so.
I remember in Cata when Gilneas was first accessible and it was consistently full of people roleplaying and it was amazing and beautiful and all kinds of weird and I’d go all the time just to watch because the people were alternately amazing and insane and beautiful and weird and one night in that tunnel that goes under the place, a group of randos were roleplaying homeless drug addicts and I never went back.
if we’re going to get Gilneas back can we mana nuke Stormwind? That place looks terrible, too much of it needs to be updated. Just start from scratch with a cooler city.
