So those people spamming about leveling services

Yup TW leveling is sooo good, don’t have to listen to stupid duck memes or watch dragons constantly transforming into lame humans to talk and NO FLAPPY BIRD MOUNTS!

I’m not leveling alts outside TW weeks anymore, going to work on their twink sets instead so I can have fun wrecking face with the cataclysm TW coming next week!

For anyone that is interested, here’s a database of timewalking/twinking power items

Some experience ive had while lvling is getting into random groups with twinks. Had a couple people, twink brewmaster monk and a twink healer. These two were clearing BC dungeons in around 5 minutes. The scaling for lvl 10 is insane really. An arcane mage can solo a dungeon easy by just bursting.

Sorry to be a bother, but what is a “twinks” in this context, because I’m guessing it’s not the definition I know.

A “twink” is a level locked character with BiS gear. Was popularized for BGs at 19, 29, ect.

But the new way is…
You can lock your xp to 10 or 11

Then spam WOD dungeons bcuz the gear can warforge into epics.

Being level 10-11 with epics + full enchants + scaling makes you insanely strong.

As for OP, think the new spot is near brackenhide as others have mentioned. Haven’t tried it myself though.

A lower level character that’s been juiced up with gear/stuff by a higher level character or player. It’s been a term in gaming since at least the 90s but nobody can agree on where it came from or why that word specifically is used. Some say it has parallels to the term you know, some say it’s because of the way armor ‘twinkles’ when you enchant it, or that it was originally the word “tweak.” Who knows :person_shrugging:

That makes sense. I was assuming it was a derogatory thing because people use the other meaning to mean “bad.”

I mean, I’m sure people can find a way to make anything derogatory, but I’ve always understood it represents youthful, slim, and attractive in the other context.
