I’ve never eaten any, but I’ve been chased by classmates who threatened to wipe one on me.
That being said, This thread is cracking me up.

I think /spit was removed because it was being used as a tool to show ones disapproval of another. (which i guess is hurtful to some people behind the keyboard) Killing a character in combat and /cannibalize are just game mechanics. ![]()
Many dont agree with it (I dont care either way) but I think you have to be trying to not see the differences if they elude you.
There is no cannibalism in the World of Warcraft on the Alliance side, absolutely none, and by that I mean there is a certain amount.
Specifically, it was being used in a harassment campaign against people who buy store mounts.
So y’all can thank Asmongold for /spit leaving.
Eating gnomes isn’t cannibalism because gnomes aren’t people.
I remember this being talked about. I have the 6 month sub mounts… Ive never been spit on that Ive seen though. wonders whats wrong with me
I think it happened to me once. I /laughed at them and continued with my day.
Still, concerted harassment shouldn’t be allowed.
Do you think the idea that Blizz removed /spit because it affected their store is valid?
I cant imagine caring what some rando emoted towards me enough to not get what I want. I suppose it could give others pause.
I don’t know of any other targeted campaigns to harass people, so I think there isn’t enough information to say whether they would have done something if it hadn’t been related to the store.
You’re free to draw your own conclusions though.
edit: and as you can see below, some people will never let a lack of facts stop a good outrage
The whales cried too much and daddy blizzard couldn’t risk the succulent teet
Always as ever corpo’s eager to act when there’s a potential risk to the bottom line.
Zombies gotta eat.

thats something a cannibal might say
yup, thank Asmongold for that, he was inciting cruelty to the whales so Blizzard had to take action.
