So radio silent until blizzcon?

They hit the point of no return long ago and they know it. What else can they do? They have already downsized, downgraded diablo into a phone app, told the investors they are counting on their chinese and korean markets to pick up the slack, and lost a huge percentage of stock value.

They’d be hard pressed to surpass the disappointment of last year.

Attention spans of gnats these days…

I didn’t like most things, but I did like the cloaks. Wasnt’ worth the money though tbh.

It may have been a disappointment, but Blizzcon (even the virtual ticket) creates hilarious memories.

I remember screaming once with a buddy of mine all because we heard Bastion overwatch noises in the background.

And last year was just fun to have something to watch while playing.

Unless they are hiding something for the patch day, 8.2.5 looks like a really small patch.

8.2 had a lot of content, but after 3 months most achievements have been completed and the new raid is old already.

After getting the crab mount next week I will be taking another break, I am not going to wait for 8.2.5 or 8.3 farming transmog or grinding azerite.

I’ll just be happy with the new models tbh. I’m not really expecting much else out of 8.2.5.

What? Do you guys not have phones?

I mean, they’ve got a PTR patch up. They’ll likely announce 8.3 before Blizzcon, then the expansion.

Man I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes. That announcement was a good example of how NOT to hype up a game. The fact a mobile game was even featured as a keystone announcement was bad enough

It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool…

That doesn’t work when they’re customer service bud.

Blizzard doesn’t communicate anymore. It’s that simple. All you’ll get is an occasional blog post telling you something you probably already knew.

They’ve said many times over the last few years they want to improve communication and they’ve broken that commitment every single time. They aren’t the same company they used to be and they don’t know how to interact with their players.

Pattern usually is that there’s a new raid every 5-6 months, with the .5 patches about mid to late of that cycle…

so if the pattern is intended to hold, the 2.5 patch should be in the coming month. but nothing has happened in, what did someone say above, 22 days?

Raid Cycle would imply November-December release.

The radio silence is a bit concerning that if they keep it up the next raid’s story spoilers would potentially be revealed same time as the expansion?
And if they don’t reveal an expansion in blizzcon… wtf… another whole year?
What are we waiting blindly for now, guys?

It’s been nothing but Classic milking, which is… fine… but dang its hard to keep my team invested atm with nothing from bliz on the horizon.

Any word on when the virtual ticket will be available?
