I am seriously hoping for a change of leadership and after shadowlands the new WoW dev team comes out with an expansion that shows that the whole n’zoth thing was a dream. Instead we had in fact been captured and put in this state the whole time and when we get back what we find is an azeroth fully consumed by the black empire with all 3 of the old gods having arisen and even y’shaarj being present in some form. We have had hints that y’shaarj isn’t gone IN BFA.
Wriggling mass from island expeditions: The tendril writhes and pulsates in your hand as your mind is assailed by all manner of vicious thoughts. One vision in particular surfaces in your mind again and again. In your mind’s eye, you picture a many-eyed goat laying in a pool of black water. As you approach, its eyes burst open, and in an instant you find yourself looking upward at the goat from deep within the puddle. As you sink into the icy darkness, everything goes black. You pocket the mass and shake the thoughts from your head.
The Halls of Origination is essentially the Titan superweapon for dealing with the Old God infection. Initially it was set to destroy all of the old gods by re-originating the planet, but by altering the way in which the Re-origination beam was used, we fired it at N’zoth directly.
So yes, N’zoth is absolutely dead. He has been extirpated.
We dont kill N’Zoth, in the cinematic we kill N’Zeth, his little brother in law.
N’Zoth is a transgender and is actually looking like Azshara. The real Azshara have been dispatched long ago…
There are old gods on other worlds. Azeroth isn’t entirely safe. The Void Lords could send more, especially if they know where Azeroth is, which could have been communicated to them by the Old Gods.
That kinda make the titans sound like a bunch of dummy though. So, titans couldn’t thought of a way to kill the old gods but the mogu and/or magni and/or mother does.
That’s one way to put it, it could also be thought of as Titans not caring enough of wiping out existing life as a consequence with their initial plan.
“Just wipe it all out and start over, we can do that”
Every character will come back when Blizzard wants to make more money off of them.
Bolvar is hanging from the corporate offices just like when Arthas had him strung up, and he’s dangling there from the 40th story windows, watching Blizzard walk into work with their Starbucks and mobile games, and he’s screaming “I… WILL NEVER… SERVE… YOU!!”
Well the whole concept of shadowlands is that’s where the dead go. And we’re all going there next year.
“Tia mi aven Moridin isainde vadin”
I’m actually looking forward to shadowlands. (Pretty sure I’ll have my fill of classic by then, but all these old rpg mechanics are hilarious fun to me so far. :)) I’m looking forward to level nerf and spending 40-50 levels working through single expansions in all my heirloom and pet battling herb/mining level-burning glory. I showed up after WoD launched and it was hard to get into any past expansions because I could blow through the 5-10 levels so fast. Scaling the old content up to level 60 was pretty neat given the presence of heirlooms and how easy exp came and I wouldn’t mind playing other old expansion content that way.
The one and only way I can imagine Blizzard could bring back N’zoth is because of Wrathion’s action during the raid… he stabbed N’zoth with Xal’atath… So an essence of N’zoth could be alive and trapped inside the blade.
Also don’t forget about Xal’atath (the old god) too, they are still out there somewhere after we free’d em from the dagger of the same name.
Don’t worry, Azshara is going to to tamper with N’Zoths corpse and come back after being infected by his flesh and losing her mind. Likely what I see happening… I mean come on Azshara isnt just going to sit around while she isnt queen of the world.
