It’s great, no matter what alot of the sweaties say. It’s nice having communication through dev events and monthly live letters from the producers, as well as have a consistent patch schedule.

I’m going to take a wait-and-see approach on Classic Era servers since every prediction for the death World of Warcraft to date has been wrong.

15 years ago I saw wow is dead posts. The games been dying since launch if we listen to those. One hell of a slow death.
Fresh servers is the only way to revive a dead game. I would also like to point out that the “fresh server” should also have an expiry date. It should reset itself to “fresh” status after a certain amount of time. Players should know that exact date when all the data gets wiped.
Classic is more alive than retail though LOL

You’re on Faerlina, cutie patootie. The server is far from dead. Every time I log in it’s thriving. While 99% horde pop servers like Skeram have no wpvp (except the 1 guy camping DMF), Faerlina gets all the action.

Main this Druid, have a Paladin alt for Healing/Tanking as needed, probably level the rest of my alts as well for fun. Phase 1 is going to feel like forever given how easy T4 is so I’ll have plenty of time to level up, gear up, stock up on things, get Gladiator gear, etc.

I believe hes referring to the absurdly high character cloning fee, which will surely kill the classic population.
Playing Classic is FREE.
The cloning fee is only for the rare (1%?) player who wants to play both TBC and CE, on the SAME character. The fee is for playing TWO characters. Why would ANY player want to do that?
It is absurd nonsense for you to claim that every players wants to do that. If players want to play classic (CE) they play classic for free. If players want to play TBC, they play that for free.
