Normal flight is usually mid expansion, its only been 6 months
You’re treating it like it’s a development time issue though. It’s turning a 0 into a 1 and in this expansion there happens to be no excuse (pathfinder) not to do so. The fact that flight has been released in previous expansions near mid expansion isn’t relevant to an expansion with dragonriding.

idk if you just have it worse though, which could honestly just be the case
i went off my meds for roughly 6 years when i entered the workforce so ive developed some self coping strategies mentally, which might be a factor in my case
recently got back on them though, which is definitely nice <:

Its not exactly flying if you didnt notice… but like all expansion, and im assuming that if they gonna by pass the expansion feature it will be mid expiation just like other expansion going from ground mount to flying

I can’t think of a single reason why it shouldn’t be enabled. All the usual “We don’t want you just flying over content” excuses are meaningless. Any fears of it threatening the success of dragonriding is unfounded, as it seems quite popular overall. There’s no unfair gathering advantage.
Just let people fly and be happy. Easy win.

I just want to use all my mounts, I like the new system with actual (albeit questionable) physics. Never much cared for drakes, aside from sandstone drake form, and the reason to use that has nothing to do with it being a drake.

Thats what I meant by it’s dynamic. Meaning its different for everyone. It’s likely I could be also on the spectrum for autism so that’s another set of issues being combined with ADHD. It also makes it harder for medication to take root.
What works for one doesn’t work for everyone. My trick is to not play the expac. And if the take away normal flight then I will end my sub.

Yup. Thats why when I say I have ADHD i mention that its dynamic. It’s going to be different for everyone and its constantly changing.
Everyone handles their disability differently. Saying things like whom you quoted or what someone else quoted me with is why many try to hide their disability.

You completely misunderstand that article.
It’s not saying that normal flying will be in this expansion. It never says that. Never even mentions the traditional, old way of flying.
It says using your regular mounts in the future is the plan. And that’s sandwiched right between two sentences that talk about the new flying starting slow and getting better and that it’ll only get better.
Does it make sense to you, in the same paragraph, for the sentences to say: “Your initial DF dragon has limited stamina, but that won’t last long. Hey, we’re bringing back normal, slow mounts someday. [Flying] should feel good from the start and only get better”?
Or, in an article all about DF flying and DF mounts, with literally ZERO mention of the old way of flying, does it make sense that the sentences read like: “Your initial DF dragon has limited stamina, but that won’t last long. We’ll even tune your regular mounts to fly like this, too. [Flying] should feel good from the start and only get better”?
The plan, during the Alpha/Beta when this article was written, was to have “older” mounts integrated into the new system. Nothing, ever, has been said about the old, slow method of flying introduced into the DF zones. Ever.
“Full-fledged flying” is not a referrence to what you are thinking is “normal” flying. The entire article is about the DF flying starting with low stamina and not being able to fly for very long, to being able to essentially fly forever due to the mechanics of ability and stamina. “Full-fledged flying” is referring to how flying is how we know it today in the DF zones, and someday our pre-DF mounts will able to fly the same way, in the same method, with the same stamina and abilities that make flying what it is in the current expansion.
Stop making stuff up.

There is nothing normal flight is going to hurt at this point.

It depends. It’s been 6 months before, and I think it was 9 in Shadowlands but a lot got delayed in that expac.

Since the superior regular flight still has yet to be released just means I can keep staying away from the game and keep finding better things to do which is no skin off my back when dragon gliding and dragon flop are boring and lame. Regular flying will do a lot to bring many players back to the game it would be Blizzard’s best interest to release it soon.

Regular flight is not going to bring masses of players back. It’s been literal years sice this change and hey still release some aspect of flihtnear then end of the expac. Just the way it is now.
It is what it is. If it’s not accessible for everyone it’s not something I want to play. I’ll lvl characters to 60. Pvp. But im not going to devote the time for it.
The only occurrence is for the traders post. To get the monthly special item you have to do DF stuff. Thats the only time. Once im good for that month I focus on old content and forget that DF existed. Until the next month.
