Actually I would wager most people, long term, are far more likely to care and use the camp screen over addon page. Having to worry about addons is very much a first few days of a patch thing.

Well…if you are coming to forums for validation you do run the risk of invalidation. This is just how forums work. You could say something that 100% true like waffles are superior to pancakes and people will disagree. It is just nature.

We’re living in some strange times.
If I have learned anything from Minecraft, don’t eat the green potato.
The one that’s first party to blizzard will take priority.
Blizzard should have opened up the character select api so addon developers could have made built a better warband select screen.

Honestly yeah, I’d much prefer the ability to have addons handle the character screen. The stock improvements are always lacking basic obvious stuff like… why can’t I drag and reorder camp groups, or have them not at the top. Or a bigger grid layout so large numbers of characters can be dragged around and sorted more easily.
But then players might hide the Shop button and that’s a crime.

and you are right, 20 years we have addon button and poof!
this reminds me of the power-leveling we had in the game for 15 years and suddenly it was “fixed” an error they said. uh huh. sure. and error that was fixed immediately after new races were added.
I dont get it. When I hit menu I dont see any addon buttons. On character load screen or in game. Its no where. What is that?
So they’re either installed in the wrong place or you aren’t using addons.

And this is where it is in game in the Game Menu, which you access from the micro menu. It’s a ? icon in the micro menu at the end.
I get all this. Its not there for me on either menu. Mine looks just like that with no AddOns button. I read even if you don’t have addons the button is still there and says no addons or something.
According to the Blizz support article, if you don’t have addons, it won’t show up. Or if you have them installed in the wrong folder.
Ok. So Im going to go with I dont have addons. But that still doesn’t answer why my transmog situation is so bad. It just reverted back to an old helm appearance again from over a year ago. I’m not doing this cuz i’m vain. Im the 3rd most hated person in pvp and I can’t be recognized.
I have no idea what any of this PvP thing means. So I’m going to pass right on by that.
My suggestion, since this thread is not about your problem, is to go to the Customer Support Forum and ask the peeps there if they can help figure out what’s going on with your transmog problem.

the thread is actually about the problem, it got changed into the addon button cuz that’s what we thought it was. we no longer think that, thus the “ima go with that i just dont have addons”
