Are you guys happy that they increased the buff from 15 to 20 seconds?
It helps but personally I’d rather have it at 25.
Now we just need more buffs and specially to PoH and a mana reduction to it.

Yup. Fewer Flash Heals and more buffed Heals is good. Also makes it easier to make most of Resonant Words conduit.
I mean better than nothing, but was expecting 10s buff too.
It’s nice qol and will result in more Mana and throughput, but really should be baked into the spec. Kind of silly that we can’t compete in Mythic+ without it meanwhile classes like resto Druids can choose between like 5 leggos without issue.
Flash Concentration should be baseline with 20s buff
That’s kind of my post-expansion question. FC is a game changing mechanic for Holy.
The more I play holy the more I realize how clunky it feels to cast heal when not running FC
20 seconds is great. 15 honestly wasn’t even that bad.
I take it by the replies in this thread that I can’t get away with not running this legendary. I have it, but I maxed out the Holy Word cd reduction for PvP and general usage.
FC is definitely really strong. Is it Holy’s only viable legendary for +10 and on?
You shouldn’t even consider anything else for +10 and above.
Last week Grevious basically forced me to run holy after 3 failed +13/+14 runs (SD and NW). I finally made the FC legendary and to TBH it’s game changing. Completely changed my view on the spec from being basically garbage to a powerhouse healer that I don’t mind playing at all.
No other legendary on any of my characters comes close to that level of power. Having a legendary that is that critical is not great TBH. Flash Concentration would make a great passive or talent if only to expand the range of viable legendaries.
Yeah, I just now healed without it because I wanted to see how another legendary felt. It… was not fun.
I will spend the ash getting it to rank 4. This should definitely be part of Holy’s base kit. And maybe they should also refund any ash spent on it.
Holy’s a sleeper healer for M+.
This’ll likely happen at end of expansion, so I wouldn’t count on soul ash refunds for it.
It’ll probably become a talent, and likely less powerful than the legendary (i.e. it’ll stack up to 3 times or something). That’s usually what happens with successful borrowed power systems.
That would be a dead talent row, then. Nothing else they could put on that line would be as good as the thing that stops you from immediately going out of mana and pumping good single target heals when things get tough.
Is crit/haste the strat to maximize FC in m+? If so, what values should I be striving for? I have 22% crit, 10% haste and 26% mastery right now and I made my FC as crit/mast
15-20% haste and 20-25% crit is a good ballpark to reach. You get some pretty solid throughput. Also, versatility > mastery in M+ because it increases your damage as well and mastery isn’t really as powerful in M+ as it is in raids.
Mastery > Crit for raiding
For M+ I would say:
Haste > Vers = Crit
I tried Crit > Vers > haste but in higher keys there’s just situations in where 0.1 or 0.2 cast time on your heals might be too late to save a teammate.
At least for this patch I would aim to 20% haste base.
Depends where they put it. Many talent rows are set up with a “strong raid” vs “strong dungeon” talent.
Or they’ll put it on a highly competitive row to begin with, to make the decision more difficult.
And it’s not like many classes/specs haven’t had “dead” talent rows for multiple expansions, either.
a bit off topic -
i would like to see this done with atonmnet as well ;b
They need to give us a legendary or talent that makes atonement passive like it was before imo.
