They really dont if you look at every single xpac
I donât think Warlords had a single raid boss survive, since Archimonde is supposed to be dead.
In Legion⌠only Cenarius directly survived, and Helya is apparently back. Otherwise most character raid bosses died there.
TBC⌠Kaelâthas, Vashj and Illidan have all returned to the story in some manner, and so did Kilâjaeden. Actually, I donât think thereâs a single lore character raid boss from TBC who has not returned in some compacity. Gruul hasnât, but Iâd argue he became a character after he was a raid boss, so doensât quite count.
yep but they all died in the raid
I also dont think those that are coming back cause we are going to the afterlife to say hi is the same as like how illidan came back.
Oh sure, Iâm not disagreeing.
I also think nathanos is kicking the bucket.
Buuuuutt a raid boss dying doesnât really stop them from showing up again.
Kael didnât actually die in the raid. When you turn in the quest for beating Tempest Keep he shows up saying he survived.
I thought he did die, and the priestess demon ressurected him by lodging that crystal into him?
Better than being a dungeon boss like Nerâzhul lol. I want Nathan to have a redemption arc, yo. He can play 5-D chess to Sylvanasâ 4-D.
This Wowhead article perturbs me. Itâs like the author wants Calia to be a Horde racial leader.
I mean the main reasons forsaken dont want her boil down to she is too gold, maybe if she wears all black she will be welcomed
Nah

Hm.
It is Delrissa who revived Kaelâthas Sunstrider after he was heavily wounded in an attack on Tempest Keep*
From her dungeon journal.
I probably got mislead by this. Itâs probably using revival in the traditional sense.
Sorry to mislead, Reignac.
Yes! Redeem Nathanos! Heâs the last of my favorite characters that remain in WoW. Even though a rancid turd makes a better companion him, I like him and think that he could be an interesting character separate from Sylvanas.
NGLforsaken women must be jealous of Caliaâs T H I C C ness.
The angry NE in me is happy we get to stab that smug douche in the face but I really thought he was going to turn on Sylvanas given he seemed to be developing a moral compass and balking at her orders. Still happy we can kill him though, he deserves it.
Thereâs still a chance that Nathanos dies in the book and this is fighting his soul or whatever.
He does die, but not in the raid. The Magisterâs Terrace dungeon is where you actually kill him, and chop his head off.
You can read the salty Nelf tears through the post.
Mirror the choice given when Sira was defeated. Give the player the option to do it and if they refuse then have Tyrande do it.
On one hand, I want Tyrande to have something go right for her.
On the other hand, I want to be the one to kill that snarky moron.
Nathanos yells: âENOUGH!â
Damn, youâre right, I forgot about that crucial detail.
