No; the Wild gods, most of the entities found in the Shadowlands, anything afflicted with the Old god curse of flesh or the Old gods themselves, etc are not robots… and these comprise a good majority of WoW’s cosmology.
Technically not robots, as robots only perform the same task over and over. AI, Android, ect.
I mean…

Simulation is also a growing scientific theory. I don’t know what’s going on with the youtube channels and their take, but scientists have found literal code in the fabric of space/time. The theory is everything exists in 2D and our reality is projected/perceived in 3D. It’s kind of trippy to think about.
Seems Blizzard is playing on the sentiment or theory that technology evolves faster than organic life, so the dominant species in the WoW universe is artificial. At least that’s been my observation since Ulduar.
I know what you mean. I thought Gnomish Flying Machines felt out of place when I first saw them in Warcraft 2. But they worked, so I didn’t complain.
I always thought it was hilarious WC2 had actual submarines vs turtles with rockets on their shells. That game was great.

The distinction between natural and artificial isn’t really that significant in this context. A lot of religions/myths have people being created by higher beings…which would make them “artificial” in the same way that this WoW stuff is.
I’m talking about inorganic life, which you probably already know.

Ear bugging me today
I was thinking about this earlier when I first saw this thread, are Humans (IRL) robots to the higher beings (if you believe in that) that created us?
This was perhaps the most disappointing thing I find in his character design.
In mythology, Odin was a Norse god that, I’d say represented wisdom and experience more than Odyn, who represents more of the valor and honor stuff.
He has one eye as portrayed in the mythos, so he is a very human-esque god, being that his body is scarred and imperfect in that sense.
Odyn is a robot with a beard made out of magma. That’s just weird to me… I think I would have preferred him more as a big, giant flying Dumbledore wizard guy floating in the sky. Kind of like Aman’thul, come to think of it.
